I have HL2 activated for GMod and then I search 'synth' or 'mortar' in the search bar

to be honest, I just want this so I can spawn the ragdoll. question, though-don't suppose you'd happen to know where the base models are in the gmod files? I load up the hl2 map containing the crab/mortar synths and they're there, but I try to find them elsewhere in the files and zilch. nada. zero.

You just use your duplicator and you should find it somewhere(like "saved dupes" or "downloaded dupes")

The context model manipulator is a model manipulator, where you have to use C and right click on a model(like a ragdoll or NPC). Then you have options like "Copy Model", "Paste Model", and "Use the model for the player"(like if you want to look like a fridge)

Oh yeah this bug. Use the context model manipulator, because other can't manipulate effects.

How did you model manipulate that!?!? I've tried, but the tool won't let me use objects in the "effects" catogory! When I try to use the model of an object that has the weird little green ring, it says that it's a watermelon! How did you not end up with a watermelon!?

Well I'm not very familiar with scripting and the Steam SDK is a horror for all modder :D .
But because I'm very interested of all units of the Combine, I sometimes even create some, because even if the Overwatch army isn't very strong, the Universal Army is really interesting(and stronger if they can take an entire planet in 7 hour)
