I am also having the same issue as Goaty. I'll get these random audio screeches after killing an enemy, and i have no other audio mod except for one that changes the explosions.

You can actually fix that problem most of the time with a simple console command:
snd_restart
If the problem persists, there's most likely a mod conflict instead.

Interesting. Don't have the game installed atm, but from previous uses I can safely say I never had issues. Do you have other sound mods installed? If yes, some of them might have conflicting files or sound cache files within their vpk. If not, I can suggest copying the vpk from this mod and moving it to your custom folder. If that doesnn't work, then oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah every time an enemy dies, there's like a 70% chance that it plays an ear piercing screech instead of an actual death noise. So I don't know why but the custom death noises are bugged and snd_restart does not work.

Does anyone else get a high pitched screeching noise when somebody dies (sometimes)? I suspect it's something to do with the Battlefield 4 death sounds but I don't know how to fix this.
