These guys are idiots! What would an SR-71 even do in ArmA? It would cross the entire map in less than 19 seconds at cruise speed. The community just barely has fighters and attack aircraft functional I don't think atmospheric spy aircraft have a role. Maybe we should all band together and work on a good SA-7 Mod first!

Or better yet! Go make your own SR-71 Mod!

@chathamlove95 There is a DLIR (Downward Looking IR) on the real aircraft. For now though, you're just using the front IR camera, the laser will still shine through the aircraft, just make sure your TGP is locked on the target with CTRL + T, and have your laser on. Guidance won't be an issue, although your visibility will be blocked.

Does anyone fully understand why the laser turret is unable to see below the aircraft at all, and how then one should Guide GBUs effectively to the target? That's an interesting aspect of the F117 I never noticed before this mod and now I'm confused on how it is supposed to properly be used.

I remember flying my F-117 on operations with my action men... Great piece of kit.

I spent like 2 hours removing mods from my modpack, looking for that one addon that's causing the F-117 to disappear from the editor and I can proudly say that I found it .
Sadly it's a really cool addon but the F-117 is more important to me :DD

What is the specific way to change the RCS in config? I've tried formatting correctly/with different ways, and whether it's in editor or in game the config doesn't keep my input, what am I doing wrong?

Mod conflicts I can't do much about unless I have an idea of what mod it is. Personally, I haven't ran into the issue where I can't see the aircraft while running my mod list. I might start digging more into it, but it's not worth the time atm. BUT, the pylon issues are a different story, that's a high priority, but the searching issues, not so much :)

Yes, conflict with other mods.

@killybane I had the same problem.
Try to unload all the mods except this one -> start game -> Go to editor search for F-117 -> add it to a custom composition -> restart game with all mods loaded.
In the editor search for the comp. you just saved earlier.

Searching F-117 brings it up, might be a mod conflict on your end

can't find it in the editor. probably a conflict with other mods. Nothing under nato jets or search for "117" "f-117" "nighthawk" etc
