Currently it doesn't, no.
As far as know any needles/spears that aren't inside a shelter when the cycle ends get despawned automatically, although I could be mistaken.

does it remove also axcessive needles that cause lag? just like: when there is more than X QUANTITY needles laid around the map, they're going to be removed? like, it is configurable about the quantity, and it remove those around the map?

this mod is a godsend for me and my friends every cycle the shelter is filled with 100 spears that we have to clean up every cycle:steamthumbsup:

Yep! It checks for needles just before the start of every cycle, so it's fully compatible with existing saves and most mods.

It'll remove any that are lying on the ground, but it skips embedded spears since they despawn after a while by themselves.

Does this work in a pre-existing save file where there are already needles in the shelter? (both on the floors and embedded on the walls)

Every time I sheltered as Spearmaster I was like, "dammit, how will I ever pick up this thing I also had in here/summon fresh spears, with all these spears in the way?".
