@FarmerJoe there are about 6-8 error lines like this ''ReflectionTypeLoadException'' or ''Type VFECore.Abilities.AbilityDef is not a Def type or could not be found, in file Ranger_Path.xml''

(all the red errors are from this mod, they dissapeared when i unsubed)

Steam is weird, here is how I fixed it:
-Unsubcribe/resubscribe and verify file integrity didn't work.
-Steam>Settings>Downloads: Enable "Schedule auto-updates" and "Clear Download Cache"

All mods will need to download, but mine might have bugged up, or I didn't wait long enough, so:
Rimpy: Fix Integrity>Delete and re-download all steam mods.

Fixed.

I use Rimsort and it's saying 1.5 for me as well.

I know Rimworld has been Janky lately with mod updates, so I might be having an issue. My download is showing 1.5 and below in the about.xml, but not 1.6. Multiple errors on launch still.

@Princess of Dounut; Rimpy might be the problem. Mr Samuel streamer uses Rimsort now for his modpacks including this mod, I was having issues trying to rimpy sort the modpack and having not updated issues. Switch over to rimsort instead of rimpy, that might help

it entirely on steam side, because the file is 1.6, my friend that use it got the 1.6 version.
unsub/resub and or verify file and hope that steam eventually decided to download the 1.6 version

can't for the life of me get this to work on 1.6 i have got like a 200+ mod list so its probably a me issude but rimpy keeps labeling it as not updated and the buttons for the abillty won't show up in the psycast menu

1.4 version is getting issues, I think it might be from trying to reference Verse.PawnRenderNode, which is from 1.5's new pawn rendering system.

pushing a new update
-Arcing Shot now has 5 charge
-Arrow Rain and Flaming Rain now take the projectile of equipped main weapons.
-Ricochet now target self as intended.
-fix Split Shot. also add an a little op option to make it take weapon burst shot count when firing.

Arrow rain shoots the guns projectile, not really arrows.. Kind of lets you just pelt a field in grenades with a launcher, if its intended, nice!

Hi! These are bugs I found (tested with no other mods):
- Split shot doesn't damage enemies (not shooting projectiles I think?)
- Arcing shot has only 1 charges instead of 5
- Ricochet shot needs a target while it's a self-buffing psycast (and throws an red error) (also has grammer issue in description)
- Flaming Rain doesn't set fire or cause explosion etc.

@Farmer Joe Yah i use Arrow Rain all the time, and often cast it 3-4 time from diffrent pawns at the same time.
But not sure it was at the border i used it.
I do use pocket sand to switch weapons and tools. But not wile arrow rain is casting, first when combat is over.

from the error it might be the latter. I'll have to null check pawn current weapon just to be sure

I love the idea of this, but unfortunately, Trapping net is incompatible with the buff abilities plus more.

Tried casting Arching Shot, Fire Rain and then Trapping Net.
The trapping net launched the muffalo out of bounds (upwards to the right and then teleported to the buttom left of the map (minimap told me with the arrows/fire)) which changed where the Fire Rain was which then kept throwing out of bounds errors.

Incompatibility with gunplay, gun increases the speed of the bullets, but double tab fires one at the increased speed and one in the normal speed.

Really does look weird.

Oh, I thought there was a chance that something was off, as the description doesn't say anything about those buffs and even the buff tooltip wasn't related in any way. Thanks for a real quick update :steamthumbsup:

Why does double tap have have power of like 2-3 other psycasts combined? It doubles the projectile amount, doubles the range and on top of that increases fire rate. That is just too busted.
I already thought that VPE was near OP level, but this overshadows that by a lot. Why not just make it do double the projectiles, like the description of the psycast explains? You could then decrease the cost, or increase the duration to balance versus the warlord trees, kill frenzy/fire focus and guided shot. Because now it basically combines these two, minus the 100% accuracy, but plus the fire rate. If you would like to keep the costs and duration, I feel that doubling the projectiles and +50% range increase, without the fire rate increase would be fairy balanced considering duration and cost. Or keep the fire rate increase, but reduce the range to +20%.

But these are just my thoughts, I still like the mod and respect all the time you put in developing it, have a nice day.

can you add a quick tip to the description regarding load order? I assume in relation to Vanilla Psycasts Expanded is the most relevant one.

The psycasts in this mod work strangely. Like true shot and triple true shot will only hit enemies in front of the target and not the target itself, and ricochet just doesn't ricochet. Still there are some good ones like arrow gale and double tap.
