@FY-KAKA Thank you! 谢谢!
However, playing multiple games as China myself or having them as an AI opponent I must say this felt a bit overpowered.
I'd consider the following changes :
- Yields +1 Great Writer point with Library building.
- Provides the city +5% Production towards Wonders per building in the district. [in other words: +5% if the district has only library, +10% if it has both library and university, and +15% if the district has library, university and research lab]
Maybe you can take some time out when you decide to upgrade GUOZIJIAN.
BTW,Im using the lite version of Metropolis,and a more balanced version called"Russie's Metropolis Alt".The original version had the problem of the AI not being able to produce advanced military units, and it has not been updated.
Hope not to derail your efforts on the gameplay aspect of this mod itself.
It is a good mod.
I will, however, regard your suggestion, and if i ever revisit the old mods, it will be added
The Song Dynasty Guozijian of the same period as Yingtian Academy was also built next to the lake of Bianliang (the name of the Song Dynasty was Bianliang, and the modern name is Kaifeng).
Therefore, I thought it would be useful to reduce the adjacent bonus of the city center, government square, and wonder of Guozijian to 1, and add a +2 river and lake adjacent bonus to it.
This should be a better reflection of the unique culture of Chinese history.
For example, Yingtian Academy, one of the oldest academies in China, was built on the south lake of Yingtian (known as Yingtian in the Song Dynasty and Shangqiu in modern times). In ancient times, the South Lake of Shangqiu was a large moat formed by a tributary of the Yellow River, and the lake was connected to the Yellow River system, which made Shangqiu a city surrounded by water on all sides and only a major bridge in the north as an exit. Such a system of urban defense made Shangqiu, although it was located on the plain, it was difficult to attack it.
If everything goes well, i dont want to give any dates, but a month or max 2 will be needed
