Save Our Ship 2, SOS2, allows placing pawns and storage items on its own ship floor. So you can bring anything using a SOS2 ship.

This is for the vanilla ship

You can already use any storage mod you want on SoS2, you don't need this mod.

Would be neat for a SOS2 version just as a new ship part. Could have both an internal one and an external one

it works now, using SOS simplified it works as well, though I'm not sure if it's this mod or SOS simplified but my saved ship loses its support structure and ship computer core, currently investigating

@Noisy Koi I just realized the problem in my actual save, and it turns out my original implementation has problems. I've (hopefully) fixed the problem and I'll appreciate if you can try it again

Heh, I used Combat Extended to load goods on to the pawns' inventories before they boarded the ship. Gotta take your stuff. This is cool.

If I remember correctly, that's precisely the sort of system SOS is even moving over to in the next update - so it might be possible to just rip that part right out of it and slap it on the vanilla ship.

man, makes me wish we had a lite version of SOS just to have the last ship you launch be what crashes in a new game you make by just adding an option in scenario edit
