I could certainly take a look, sure. I think I'll take a look at a new defensive structure that allows recruitment of Grave Guard and provides some small defensive bonuses.

Well whatever decision you make, thanks for the great mod. Good to see Arkhan get some much deserved love. Also I dont suppose you have thought about integrating the nagash mod at all with this? Obviously it would be a huge task but I always thought it would be cool if you could somehow get some more nagash themed units or even awaken him in the late game as Arkhan.

I'll make some adjustments on my test build to see how they look and feel. The models are beautiful! Can't wait to include them.

Then allow them to benefit from the Tomb Guard techs maybe? They could become super powerful. The models from vampires of nehekhara also look cool I just had a look, will be a nice addition.

I could see the benefit of replacing regular tomb guard with swords with the Grave Guard. Wouldn't bloat the roaster as much.

Could they not simply replace Tomb guard swords? Then you still have tomb guard polearms for vs large but the tomb guard for elite inf

I think more so to do with how they fit the roster, and the fact they don't have a unique appearance, but I Yogo Pogo has kindly let me use their variants from the Vampires of Nehekhara mod which will be included in my next majpr update.

I just prefer to use the vampire units where I can to replace TK units since its nice and thematic for Arkhan, but its your mod and your prerogative

I've diabled Grave Guard for the time being until I can decide on how they can return, mostly likely when I push the new update for the main mod.

hey bro, I booted up my arkhan save this morning and it seems the mod has been lightly broken. For example the grave guard building chain is missing and the one I have built has an invisible icon. Not sure if there are more bugs too.

The crumbling/disintegrating passive on vampiric units is not consistent with the SFO crumbling/disintegrating passive for the rest of TK units, nor with SFO disintegration for normal undead.
TK Terrorgheist added by this mod doesn't have the SFO Terrorgheist Shriek (melee range AOE).
The alignment of technologies in the Heralds Empowered area of the tech tree is off and points to the bottom of the screen.

Not sure which of these are intended, just a heads up.

I admit that I haven't played Arkhan in vanilla much, but I feel that something is off with this submod. I don't think that I'm using any other mods that might be interfering with any of these.

The fallen kings don't use SFO tomb king traits and use the bland vanilla traits instead. Same for Mortuary Viziers and Liche High Priest traits.
Some of the technologies buff units that I don't see being available for recruiting anywhere (zombies, vargheists, zombie dragons, etc). Is some recruiting building missing (Necromancer's Tower equivalent)?
I don't see where Hexwraiths are recruited either, despite them being in Arkhan's starting army and in the original Arkhan Expanded mod description too.
The balance of grave guard doesn't sound great, they are strictly inferior to tomb guard except having 30 more armor. Baseline SFO doesn't add them for this reason.

Going to push an update shortly which will fix the following issues:

Version 1.3

- fixed an issue where some infrastructure buildings were missing
- fixed an issue where some units had double instances of The Realm of Souls passive
- hidden SFO Ghost building chain
- hidden Arkhan's unique walls
