Monopolized weapons can no longer be spawned from resource pods.
Monopolized weapons are no longer available except from Orbital Combat suppliers.

There is insufficient information in the report.
I have no idea what you monopolized, what faction the trader was, how you met the trader, or what the trader was selling.

Is there a way to keep monopolized weapons from showing up in drop pods? I've also noticed that some monopolized weapons spawn in traders.

If you have a large number of mods installed, try the following steps:
- Turn off half of the mods and test to see if Weapons Dominator saves.
- If it doesn't save, there's a conflicting mod among the active mods. If it saves, there's a conflicting mod among the disabled mods.
- Turn off another half of the mods using the same procedure and test again. Repeat this nine times to identify conflicting mods, even if you have 512 mods.

Since I’m using quite a lot of mods, it would be difficult to go through them one by one.
I also feel it would be inconsiderate to ask you for any additional help.

I immediately ran a reproduction test, but the problem did not occur.

First of all, I’m really enjoying the monopolize option, and I want to thank you for creating this mod.

However, I have one problem when using it.

Right after I change the numbers, everything works fine. But when I turn the game off and on again, the numbers I changed are reset. I thought it might be a mod crash, so I removed the related mods one by one and checked, but I couldn’t find the cause. Could you please take a look? Thank you.

Hello, iv seen your answer about the request for a mod that allow to monopolyze armors/clothes too, but i dont really get your point that it wouldnt be usefull?

For exemple in my case i use Grimworld mods, and i dont want any faction but mine being able to craft or use space marines armors from thoses mods, as it wouldnt make any sense cause only space marines can use thems?

And i guess there is plenty others cases where others player would need to restrict some apparrel to them for coherence purpose.

Or for those who edit the stats of some clothes throught Character Editor and dont want that OP clothe to spawn on NPCS?

Iv seen you said it would be easy to do, would be really nice of you if you have the time and usefull for many peoples, i was already searching from a long time a mod for restricitng guns to me, just sad i it cant restrict armors too.

PS : I dont care the stats edits, only monopolize function

Okay, so apparently making a local copy of this kind of breaks the mod in an interesting way, the mod gets loaded but you cant use the mod options.

PLA-Armory,many weapons in it have this problem,such as QJB201 and QJY201

Why is the damage of some weapons increased directly? For example, without this mod, the damage of a weapon is 11. After using this mod, the base value of the weapon becomes 59, which is too high even if it is adjusted to 0.5 times.

It's not a well-known fact, but Rimworld has a limit to the number of ThingDefs you can add.
And guns and bullets do not have a 1:1 relationship; one type of bullet is shared by multiple guns.
The Weapons Dominator duplicates bullets and reconfigures them as exclusive bullets for each gun in order to limit tuning to that gun only.
In other words, it generates the same number of bullets as the number of guns you add.
Therefore, the limit on the number of ThingDefs you can add to a Rimworld is halved.
It is a difficult problem to deal with when a Weapons Dominator is used in a Rimworld with too many guns, exceeding the capacity limits of the Rimworld. Please reduce the number of guns and floors you introduce.

If you have the time, could you please implement the same functionality for armor? You say you don't see the benefit of limiting outfits, but I don't - enemies spawn with all sorts of different armor in all sorts of different mods that don't feel cohesive, and it seriously breaks immersion... It also slows down the spawn time of large raids as I have to pick and choose what to wear from a pool of too many outfits. Restricting a large number of modded outfits to only being available in user settlements would solve this almost completely.

would it be possible to do a similar mod to genes ? i use this quite alot and it is fun and i notice there isnt a way to limit the enemy from using a custom gene setup XD

The only reason why I could see the point in an Armor Dominator Mod, is if one is using very particular Race Mods which introduce Armor native to that Race's technology and lore.

I personally do not care much for 40K, but take any one of those factions, and you can kind of see where I'm coming from.
Cannibalistic Savages attacking T'au using Pathfinder Armor, or something of the like, would be rather uncanny - and unfortunately I've run into certain situations similar to that.

Although I do not expect to change your mind, it would be really cool to have an Armor Dominator for explicit purpose of avoiding a situation such as the above example.

I have no plans to make an Armors Dominator because there is little merit in forbidding the enemy to use the armor or monopolizing the armor.
If you want to use armor that is well designed but not practical, please introduce Appearance clothes.

The save destination of this mod's settings is not your play save data.
Your Weapons Dominator settings will be written to the file name Mod_No.013 Weapons Dominator_ModOption.xml and will be automatically loaded the next time you start the game.

I'm guessing that for some reason the read or write failed or the save file was deleted.
However, I don't know the cause of the trouble because that trouble does not occur on my PC.
I can only assume that this mod's data loading process is aborted because you have a bad mod that is broken in your Rimworld.
With no hints, there is no possibility that even I, the creator of this mod, can identify the cause of your trouble.

At least Harmony, Core, DLC, if you have only this mod, it will work properly.
Uninstalling other mods until you no longer see the red error when starting Rimworld may solve your problem.

Weapon settings do not restart with the every new game load. So every weapon's range, coldown and power resets to default. That's sad. Cause mod does not work though. Any suggestions?

I wasn't exactly looking for a fix, I don't mind disabling this mod.
I didn't use any bullet graphic changing mod AFAIK, once upon a time all was fine and the bullets were normal while I used this mod. The bullets started going missing after I installed some extra mods (no bullet graphic changers either) (I installed faster game loading and several others). Not sure if faster game loading is the culprit or not, didn't really bother to test it.

Such rendering errors do not occur under normal circumstances.
Your report lacks so much necessary information that the mod author cannot determine the cause or fix it.
You are definitely using a mod that changes bullet graphics. Please specify the mod name.

You have a small chance that placing the Weapons Dominator higher in the loading order (e.g. right after the DLC) will remedy the problem.

If you want a fix for this mod, you are obligated to explain to me the list of mods you are using.
You are responsible for identifying mod combinations that cause the least amount of trouble.

Changed the page to be split when the number of weapons exceeds 250 as a countermeasure for the drastic decrease in FPS when there are too many weapons.

下の英語の質問と同じで自分もMOD300以上入れているからかWeapons Dominatorの設定画面を表示するとFPSはかなり落ちます。
ただこれは単にMod大量に入れていて設定画面で武器が大量に表示されるので処理が重くなるのは当たり前なのでは?と思って気にしてませんでしたがどうなのでしょう。
rimworldのversionは最新、HugsLibも導入してます。
質問内容読んでいて気になったので参考になればですが……

Are you getting an error message?
Do you have HugsLib installed?
Is it the moment you enter the mod settings screen that the FPS drops?
Is it the moment you enter the settings screen of Weapons Dominator?
Does the problem occur when going from the title screen to the mod settings screen? Or when you go to the mod settings screen from the bottom right of the screen during gameplay?
Does the FPS still drop after closing the mod settings screen?

Hello! You've done a great job with this mod! I'm having a problem though: I've added too many mods.(about 500+ I think) This causes the interface to become abnormally laggy when I use the mod's settings, and the FPS plummets from 100+ to about 10. I don't know much about xml or C#, so I don't know how to optimize this part. So I have to tell you that this problem exists, and it would be great if you could optimize this part!

数々の魅力的な機能に惹かれサブスクライブさせていただいたのですが、こちらのMODを有効にすると新規開始・既存セーブデータの読み込みどちらの場合にも「エラー:地図を作成中」というエラーが発生するようになり、ゲームを開始することすらできなくなってしまいました。
最初はMODの競合が原因だと思いましたが、DLCと前提のみの環境でも同様の症状が起きてしまい、自分ではもうお手上げ状態です。

If people are wanting 'realistic' armor penetration and the like, there is the option of CE. Meanwhile, I have found this mod to be spot on for my needs, taking weapons that are out of line, and nudging them back into shape. This mod then lets me test the performance of these wweapons, and if I feel like it, provide feedback to the original gun modder. Sometimes they even listen. Anyway - this is a very useful mod, so thank you for it.
