@eloisiana this bridge is building ("Building, Electricity"). Therefore, when the bridge is placed in the water, a wave will begin. Use the flood protection mod. Also I recommend using this asset as a PO-object for your city.

This asset caused tremendous problems with my river. It lead to flooding and a huge gap in the river bed, the ships couldn't even get through
