It should work like that. Maybe something broke and I'll have to check the code. You can install the mod after compleeting the plot and it won't mess with your save.

It's not impossible. The same mod is on NexusMods however in a zip file and unpacked. You can take a look at it.

ive used this mod for a long time and my question is people say that modding in custom gate connections is basically impossible, so how does this work then, is thewre a connection in the files from the devs or how does this work?

I've read that before, however in my games I have never had the drops stop, if you manage to clean it all up then you start to see it come out on its regular interval which i think is about 10 minutes. using Astrid's are overkill for automation as they will have it cleaned up and keep going back before its recovered. I've found two Raleigh on cycle to the station i built in sector maintain a nice balance, inventory grows and they dont run out breaking the script.

I dont think that is possible.
And, unless something has changed then no new protectyon drops from the station unless the player is personally present near the station. In other words, the player needs to be present for new batches of protectyon to drop from the station.

Any idea of how to add ships to station to collect drops? currently using "repeat order" however i would like to have the ship assigned to the station. Thanks

@bossvampire removable no. It could be if I make a mini mod that removes all the additions from the save and then you remove both. It should be compatible. Unless Egosoft changes something about sector loading or the game saves that makes them not work anymore with new versions it should always work.

It may be possible that the cheat mod to move gates wasn't designed to move gates from other mods. Only vanilla gates.

I don't know, I don't really use a lot of mods for this game because some mods lag the game a lot. But I did notice this: Right after I move the jump gates, they are still connected. I noticed that they stopped being connected when I decided to try to go back to LoF some time later. So that could mean that after moving the gates, and then doing some other things, it caused the gates to stop connecting. There is no connecting line between the two gates anymore, but the blue lights that makes up the portal at the center is still there, so I think the gates is still "enabled" but disconnected. (Unless a deactivated jump gate still has that blue glow as well)

Also, the way I move the gates using the cheat mod is I first select the gate in first person mode, then I put down a guidance mark, then the cheat mod will move the gate to the guidance mark, it doesn't matter whether that guidance mark is in the same sector or in a whole different sector, it will still move the gate there.

You entered something wrong when moving the gates. Or there could be changes in the record depending on the Boron DLC.

So I found a non-vanilla bug with this one. I use the cheat mod that allows me to move an object at a spot I pick. So I used that mod to move the LoF jump gates closer towards the center of their respective sector but not dead center. And then I reloaded my game and both of those jump gates became deactivated. I have moved vanilla jump gates before (I even moved a vanilla jump gate to a whole different sector and back and it still works)

Very good, playing that annoying Avarice quest once was too much. Now, thanks to you, I can build a factory even in these otherwise interesting areas, and I don't have to deal with each protection delivery personally.

Let me advice for you a little thing. You should make your Jump Gate activate when any players completed or already completed "Tide of Averice" Quest line will be nice:steamthumbsup: I shall say "Outstanding one"!:steamhappy:

@AngelofDeath69 I haven't seen a single ship go and collect it as of now. But you can build a defence platform in that sector to take it over and make Protectyon an illegal ware.
