would this mod work with the MH version of android tiers, or only the standalone?

Honestly, for balance reasons it kind of makes sense having a separate item for mechlinkable androids

In reference to Haminator it doesn't affect the base-game mechlink, its a separate item you need to spawn either with dev or just adding it to inventory using character creator, this is simply because I was unable to figure out how to add multiple options for organs the mechlink is applicable to (TLDR I couldn't make the thing go to human brain AND robot brain so I just added a second one that works on robot brain) If I can figure out how to fix this I'd love to but I simply don't know and cant find a source on it.

this is a hella simple mod, it adds one item which is a copy paste of a normal biotech item with exactly one value changed, it *should* by all accounts work in pretty much all cases assuming you have android tiers reforged and biotech, those are the only two factors that really interact at all

prepare carefully is known for breaking saves, I literally don't know what may or may not work in regards to it because I don't use it. I recommend using Character Editor
