I tried this mod but goblins were still immortal. Any advice on what else needs to be added it seems the mod adds maxage and child.

It would be interesting to make Goblins unable to reproduce. The number of Goblins created at the dawn of the world is all there will ever be. It explains the kidnapping of other races, since over time it is those new citizens who will carry the Goblin culture forward.

Ahhh, beautiful. The only way this could be better is if it also required goblins to eat and drink. But hey, at least they won't flood over the world in a green tide quite as often anymore.

@HatarioHanzo, I'm not sure. I've heard of people adding tags to make certain animals war trainable by adding tags in a post-worldgen save, but that may have been before v50 and the new modding setup.

Anyway, the biggest impact of this mod would be during worldgen and history generation where hundreds of years go by.

@Hawkwing, Yeah, that's one of the things I used to do with my minor raws edits. I'm very new to these kind of piecemeal mods. In the past, I just changed creature_standard and entity_default directly in a newly copied DF folder.

This was always such a weird vanilla design decision. Made goblin civ population growth ridiculous in older worlds.

Probably worth adding the tags to make them require food, too.
