Pretty terrible animations compared to vanilla ones, both in terms of visuals and combat power. Cannot recommend this to anyone.

Hey I think one of your polearm animations is broken. Characters are twitching when using polearms, meaning a bugged /canceled animation, which goes away when I disable this mod.

I really like this mod! Unlike other attack mods that seem like they're more about looking fancy, this one feels more in spirit of the game's base attack animations, which as you said, were pretty snappy and responsive enough and pretty good for what they were doing. It really does feel like a natural expansion of moves that we would've seen in the original game.

I really liked the mod, it is very simple, it does not break the balance of the game like many others.
And I would really like you to add new animations in the same style for other weapons.
So simple and not very noticeable.

I was really excited to see a animation mod with good, practical, attacks and not kung fury, the heavy one kills it for me. I know the heavy weapons are oversized, but that attack is silly.

At the end of every polearm animation the weapon suffers from tiny twitches. I'm trying to find why is this happening.

@bondi Care to elaborate on what is going wrong? Technically speaking, the mod should be relatively compatible with everything, as the only changes made to the game files are the addition of my animations. This is why I say it's compatible with other animation mods as they do the same thing as well.

However, race patches will be need to be made with races that are not vanilla, but it's really easy to do since all you have to do is tell the game in the FCS to use my animations.

I'm having compatibility issues between this and overhauls mods like Kenshi Kaizo, Lost in the Ashlands and General Modifications. I can't really tell which one.

I don't use this version because of the Heavy Chop Top animation (i Love it but...), i always consider that should be a little bit faster (and maybe have 2 hits by that first move, horizontal slice, before the Chop) my Question is... this technique have had more changes? or just the chance of Hapenning? Ówo
By see the Videos i can say that vanilla movement take around 0.5 - 1 second to hit, instead Heavy Chop takes 2 (long)seconds in same conditions. With a 33% more speed (or x1.33) i would be happy .w. (and more than just 0.05 chance YwY)

(If you give it 2 hits Combo, like Katanas, 1st move "Power 1" would be 0.30 and the Chop Top "Power 2" 1.2)

the More Combat Animation Extended Edition adds a lot of flowery impractical attacks imo which make the character travel a long distance between the point of starting the attack and the point of ending it, hope you don't make those kind of animations.

Great job. Maybe a kind of forward thrust attack for Heavy weapons would be great. And a new blocking animation for heavy would be nice too.

Haha no worries, I completely understand. That was my first animation ever, made before I had the concept for this mod hence why it seems so out of place. Future heavy attacks will be made with practicality in mind, thanks for the feedback!

Can I be a critic without being a jerk? I'm going to try, while I like all the animations I see here in the above videos. I am not crazy about the heavy weapons overhead downward slash that I see in the videos above. The long pause at the end of it and how slow it looks, makes me feel like anyone doing that attack would be left completely defenseless in two situations from the moment you hold a heavy weapon above your head to the end of it where you are basically kneeling on the ground before your opponent. Both would get you instantly killed from being completely left wide open. But, hey it's your mod and you can do as you wish. The polearm and katana animations are very fluid however, and look practical from an attacking stand point.

I'm having the issue of the sword and polearm specific mods not working together. Depending on which is sitting higher in my load order, the other will get disabled. Is there a way to make those two work together?
