Is this still working? I still need to close the dishwasher manually

Once this is all updated and stuff, I'd love to see a 'lazy grabber mixer' for certain automation, especially with some modded menus

@BigWally Sounds like you spawned something that's not from this mod. Not an issue.

@Kirxi Can't figure it either. Some people wanted it, I see that adding it it doesn't really make any other appliance obsolete since it serves its own niche, I add it. The only reason I can see to use it is for long distance transportation of items without the use of teleporters. Not sure if that's what everyone uses it for.

@Achilles That would make regular grabbers obsolete. Not something I am interested in.

After building the Conveyor - Fast from creative mode it is stuck. It can't be removed or rotated. This particular item was called conveyor - fast, but it happened on another item in a previous kitchen. After a lot of work to automate, I have to start over it seems.

Does anyone know how to load multiple items onto Conveyor - Fast effectively? Can't figure why I would want to prefer it over the vanilla conveyor.

Could you add something for the Picky Eaters card ? Like make it so if there's a plate with leftover on a combiner that points toward a trash can, the leftover automatically go into the trash can

the mod is not working for me anymore. just like all of the mods that are needed: harmony, etc. Everything works fine until I add one of those mods. then I get a notication that those mods wont work.

I can't play this game without this mod anymore. Great job!

Smart Grabber - Rotating: A smart grabber, but you can bend it to determine which direction it should push to.
Lazy Mixer: Only mixes/chops once
Conveyor - Fast: Fast conveyor belt
Grabber Mixer: A mixer that grabs from the direction the arrows on the appliance indicate
Grabber - Merging: A grabber that merges inputs from different sides into one location.
Grabber - Splitting: Takes from one side and then turns to push to multiple sides of the grabber. (For example, if you made cake bases and needed them to push one to each flavor before going back to the first side it pushed to, you'd use this.)

What are the functions of the new appliances? Maybe a place where the information is displayed?I visited the github page to see if the info was there and if it is then I missed it. Some appliances seem to be pretty specific such as the Smart Grabber - Rotating while the others would seem to make me think it operates in one way but in fact might be something else.

what is the effect of Grabber - Merging and Grabber - Distributing ,i do not use it

PLEASE add a fast grabber. Also a fast smart Grabber or please make a setting that we can change if it can grab or not. or that we can adjust the speed of the conveyor belts.

what is the merging grabber supposed to do? if its like the combiner then it does not work atm.

EDIT to below post: Uh, we just changed the settings but didn't restart the game :facepalm.jpg:

* I've been using this mod on soloplayer pretty successfully.
* When I played with my friend, we synchronized our mods and I walked him through the settings to enable Lazy Mixer and Grabber Mixer.
* He was the host. He had those two enabled.
* When we got a Conveyor Mixer, I saw that it could upgrade into a Lazy Mixer but he saw that it could upgrade into a Rapid Mixer.
* When we did upgrade it, we got a Rapid Mixer.

Thoughts on what happened and how to fix it?

Thanks so much for the mod! I wonder if it's possible to add automating trashing using a combiner or portioner or whatever that makes sense. Right now vanilla game only trashes if there's no plate or tray, would be really convenient if we can trash the tacos in the tray automatically.

That said it's not a given that every mod/mod author will open source their code. In those cases, feel free to decompile the code as necessary for debugging purposes.

there's already a mixer like that DerFalke86, it's the lazy mixer, it only cut an item once

add a smart mixer that can be set to a certain item and then not cutting the item further because its kinda annoying to have an automated salad restaurant where when you are a bit slow the mixer makes it to sauce and makes it unusuable + is blocking for mor tomato slaces means it makes sauce out of it every time so please make a smart mixer

Hi, how do the new appliances spawn in the game? Downloaded the mod before launching the game and starting a new restaurant, enabled everything in the settings but they don't appear.

Hey Milo, thanks for all the great mods. I have a potential QOL item you can add: a conveyor that grabs but does not push. Would be useful for setting up multiple condiments next to a table without have to worry about where the conveyor is pointed. Just a thought!

Hey great mod, just got a quick question: How do you get the new grabbers? I can spawn them with Stuff on Demand but in legit games I have NEVER gotten any of them - both as drops or research desk upgrades

Okay the main issue is there is no mod preferences for this mod for me. Not sure why...

This straight up does not work in regular gameplay. I installed it on a clean install of the game, the items do not show up in rerolls or anywhere, the dishwasher does not automatically start, theres no settings menu for the mods settings. It shows up under mods on the menu as if it is active but it does nothing. I don't want to use this in creative mode I want to just play the game with these features :/ disappointing

@IcedMilo I feel stupid not realizing it sooner. I had kind of forgotten they were part of this mod it's been so long. I could have sworn in the past they did show up on rerolls. Regardless, thanks for telling me what I was doing wrong. I've been able to get several of them now thanks to some researching. Thanks!

@Zizo would suggest trying it out in-game. Spawn the appliances in with a creative mode style mod. Eg. Stuff on Demand.

@Emergency Tacos if you're trying to reroll to get upgraded appliances, you're asking for trouble. The custom appliances are meant to be upgraded from their relevant base blueprints.

@xEnD_oF_DeMOx3 Doesn't work if you added the mod mid run. Spawn in/buy a new dishwasher

i dont understand how auto start dish washes? i did put it as "when full" and it didnt start to wash the dishes so i have to click it to start wash the dishes.

Hmm, I disabled a few mods and the Fast conveyor showed up, but nothing else has.

I love this mod, though none of the new appliances are showing up. Everything else shows up. I went into the mod settings to ensure that I had indeed selected to enable them and they were all enabled. I have another mod that allows free rerolls so I've rerolled A LOT. Never seen any of them. I've restarted, tried different save files, and nothing seems to work.

The mod is definitely working, microwaves and dishwashers are going on their own, but for some reason the new appliances just aren't showing up.

Is somewhere describe what these new features do? if not with screen.
Grabber mixer? I can imagine something like Mixer which can also grab something to mix?
What means conveyor - fast option?
Lazy mixer?
Grabber merging/distributing?

Not sure why but even though my smart grabbers should only change during practice i have one in my current pizza run that keeps changing from just crust with sauce to uncooked cheese pizza at the beginning of the day.

@Meldiron Some features are always enabled because of the way the mod is done. As for custom appliances, you can pick which of the appliances you want by enabling the preferences per the description (Options => PreferenceSystem => AutomationPlus).

Not possible. It's just meant to make it consistent and predictable. The game should by default prioritize grab before push but doesn't. Doing anything else requires breaking game systems.

Can you add filters to rotate grabbers?

The special appliances from this mod never show up in the shop. They are enabled in settings. I'm using custom difficulty too but other mods show up normally like the sledgehammer.

@KellyR No, assuming it were possible I wouldn't do it either. I don't want to completely remove the "thinking about space management" aspect of the game. Distributing Grabbers are already way too smart for my liking. They will skip spaces that are not applicable for the item currently on it (Eg. other ingredient providers, an occupied counter, mismatched prep stations). The space you do not want items to be pushed should either be invalid for said item or left empty.
