@Officer Joe Balogna AFAIR it's not possible to add or remove mods after you've generated the world

What would happen if I removed this mod from my save while I have dwarves wearing gauntlets + gloves + mittens? Could it corrupt the save or cause other serious issues?

@lmlsna, thanks for the feedback. I can remove it, since it doesn't work as I expected either way, but I wasn't aware that it's throwing any errors.

This mod's info.txt seems to generate a bunch of errors upon entering the main menu, because of the Steam description section having stuff like "[/list]" and "[*]" since the game sees anything that is bracketed as being tokens. Thus, lots of "unrecognized mod info token" is being generated.

@Valkyrie.Yukikaze I don't have an interest in making such a mod, but you can definitely do so!

I think it would work if you just remove the SHAPED property from leather armor. It could potentially have some knock-on effects though, this system is non-trivial to reason about. You can try it out yourself by modifying the raws, in a similar vein to the "Adding to existing saves" method.

@acymetric you're welcome! Thinking about the system was 90% of the fun here so I decided to share the findings.

@rez dog forever in hell - it would be exactly Over Boots. But TBH I prefer the SHAPED solution for boots, as in vanilla wearing shoes + boots is not a valid combination. But that's just me, Over Boots is an acceptable solution as well.

Will there be a boots version of this? or would that just be similar to the Over Boots mod in how it works?
