Sorry, gave a thumb down just to help me keep track of which of my favorites no longer work since the Mid sept 2025 update. I have a lot of mods installed. Finding that some mods are interfering with other mods since the update.

Crab Rolls seem to be broken, placing the mayonnaise on them does not work.

Hi I have a problem, I don't have nori sheets just sea grass and I'm a little confused about what to do with it

Fish Fillet and Avocado don't go into prep station, don't really make sense since crab does and nigiri which is fish + rice goes into prep station, and avocado is like the most basic veggie.

The rice pot can sometimes duplicate when looping from sink to hob.

Hi there, thank you for the mod! I just wanted to report a small bug: smart grabbers seem to be unable to recognize the extra soy sauce bottles unless they are facing the same way as the one you tagged the grabber with.

@ZeRelic Oh I understand what you mean, thats actually a bug in the vanilla game with the fallback system iirc, I'm planning to make a patch for that anyway :D

i am not asking you to translate into other language. I just wanted to see the recipe in English, even if you are using a different language.

Unfortunately I am unable to translate the recipes into other languages as English is my only language.

I did consider using Google Translate (or something similar) although I have heard these tools are not always accurate so I'm sceptical about that.

there is issue with recipes(description), when you set to non-english language recipe description is blank.

Hey there all - I'm seeing there are quite a number of people who are having issues with the Swimming Sushi mod, whilst personally I haven't been able to replicate any of these issues I am currently working on re-writing the entire mod from scratch to hopefully bring a new aspect of game play to it, along with bug fixes.

playing this with my sister, we can't make Gunkan Maki - the roe won't combine into the rice/seaweed. and if we combine the rice and seaweed first, it just turns into a riceball, and we still can't add the roe.

nori is missing, can not make sushi(((

after boiling rice all i can do is make a rice ball, or combine chopped fish with rice, buyt then nothing interacts and theres nothing to do with the avacado

I also can't serve customers.

didn't see this on the bug tracker. After adding rice and nori together, smart grabbers train to it as "rice+nori+salmon+avocado" instead of what it is. So if you train a smart grabber with a plain rice+nori item, it learns rice+nori+salmon+avocado instead. It then won't pick up a rice+nori item.

@Peter this is a KitchenLib Bug, in Mod Preferences > KitchenLib you can enable the beta and this should be fixed.

I can't serve the sushi plates to customers since latest game update. I don't see this on the bug tracker either. Any news on this?

Not sure if this is the place to ask but this among other mods refuses to load and will only say that i might be missing requirements? I've got IngredientLib and the appliance once installed to but it still refused to load the sushi

@MoonMoon - The problem with Soy Sauce packets is the same problem you have with other "consumables" (like sharp cutlery, napkins, etc)... limited supply. Your suggestion is more easily fixed by putting a grabber near the soy sauce and against the table so that the sauce will be pulled onto the grabber and then will be grabbed by the table automatically.

Every one I've watched play does that trick with ketchup for burgers/hot dogs (or soy sauce with other dishes) with no problems. The game already has a lot of cards/appliances without adding more.

My mistake. (Thought someone asked how to make Onigiri, and I hadn't seen Onigiri before and thought about Nigiri.)
(My previous comment about a food item grouping together without a plate is the Nigiri, for clarification. Not sure if that's an intended feature, but felt it was worth mentioning.)

Also, after finding out about Onigiri existing in the mod, I've had the thought the unique feature about the Sushi is the complexity and variety. (I have a newfound interest in the dishes and mod, as a positive comment.)

I know it would perhaps take some time to implement, but I had some ideas:
- Crab rolls: I had the thought perhaps these could either become a side (and instead of seaweed use flour / dough like a crabrangoon?)
- Soy Sauce Packets: I don't know if this is even possible to implement. Soy sauce packets (upgrade of soy sauce?) to set on tables in advance to help alleviate the soy sauce demands?

@MoonMoon The recipe you described is Onigiri, the recipe which is Rice Portion + Salmon is Nigiri

Making Onigiri (I hadn't gotten it before.)

Key thing here. You take a portion of the boiled rice, then have to interact with it. Then add cooked seaweed. It will turn into a rice ball. :3

I forget then, what food item it is that is rice with fillet on top.
