Yes. After using translation, I found that I crashed because I used version B41.

Since you posted a comment here and not in the B42 preview thread im going to assume you tried to use B41 files on B42, if this is not the case feel free to make a post with the content of your log file and I will look into it.

I can confirm it crashes for me at startup. I play it at 4K resolution, I don't know if that plays a role (Build 42)

It is neither hard nor a secret, you can probably ask an LLM or search for how to do it.

Build 42 Preview 2 is now available. You may now customize a bunch of settings, even disable the main feature of this mod (by request). If you are happy with the defaults there is no reason to update from B42 Preview 1 at this time. Preview 1 is now no longer supported. See this discussion for download.

Please consider that suggestion, maybe add an option for us to choose what to use like providing two folders (zombie folders) of this mod containing one with default zooming + more levels and another with the current mod

I agree i like new zooms but would appreciate smoothing out between zoom levels

I can confirm this does NOT work on B42. I figured since it just messed with the camera, it might, but it didn't sadly.

i was just thinking on that, its so annoying having to be twice as alert while zoomed out just because of that, its just dumb.

think you could make a mod that removes the audio level reduction when zooming out? it's a really stupid "feature", i have no idea what the devs were smoking when they decided to implement it.

Hey, is there a way to only install different zoom levels rather than the instant zoom?

What does the texture class edit? I opened it but soon realized I didnt understand Java. I ask because after I downloaded your mod I can see past large fences, but so can zombies. However, neither can see past north eastern fences. It is a real pain in the ass and I'd rather neither. Verifying didn't fix the issue either. Did you carry over that 360 vision thing from your older mod?

@Gravyboat @DangKhoai I found a mod on NexusMods called "Enhanced Zoom" that only adds extra zoom scales, 10% - 500%, without the removal of transitions. It requires manual installation, but that's no big deal, it's quite easy to add despite that. :) Might miss the faster camera panning, but I also had the issue of the transition-less zoom being too rough on my eyes, so, oh well!

@msmr Automated install for macOS should be *relatively* simple with a command script that you can copy/paste.

I haven't used macOS in a hot minute, so this is based on memory of the language and organization of files, but:

1. Subscribe to this mod to download the relevant files.

2. Open the Terminal App (use either Spotlight Search (command+spacebar), or look in the Utilities Folder under Applications and Click the icon)

Indeed this is game changer. It's normal that it feels a bit weird the zoom change without transitions, but quickly you get yourself comfy with it. And the smoothness in paning the camera is very nice compared to the vanilla one! Good job!
