He is going to be a weaker class overall with the new changes, but I feel it's necessary because he had too many ways to completly break the game.

@Moll Dubh He already does. It's actually kind of broken if you bring a 4-man of them, you usually get a full stack of food after every fight, the trade-off being he can't do much against rank 3 and nothing against rank 4.

Laius would be an interesting hero to have, indeed. What about have him have a chance to earn food each battle, like the antiquarian have a chance to find baubles?

@DangersuslyTexan I already partially did that for his Irrational dialogue and I didn't want to double dip. I do stand by the idea of the only way that Laios could be abusive is if he was just slightly more of a dick about his interests, I just don't know if I captured that well enough.

I like it, anyways how about have his abusive dialogue just be him barking like a dog if you don't think your writing chops can hold up?

@123jazz2007 The list of what I'd like to do and what I have the skill and patience to do are very different. At my current skill level, Marcille and Izutsumi are theoretically possible, but I can't make any guarantees. I want to work on refining my mediocre skills before starting another project as big as a new class.

Any plans to bring the rest of Laios's crew from Dungeon Meshi, or even characters from other light novels?

I understand :) try to give an announcement in Group VK on DD, they say there is an idea for a hero, maybe someone will be inspired and offer an interesting image. Or in a pinch to save up and order their own unique model ;)

@Exodus Yeah, I've never been much of an artist, but I don't want to start commissioning until I get fully invested into the hobby. Last time I started spending before I knew I could commit the time, I ended up with a shelf full of primed and half painted Chaos Marines. I do plan on refining the visual at some point because I consider the state they're in now to be barely passable.
