You could always "undesignate home area" around them. They still probably wouldn't last forever, but they would last much longer.

Seems stupid that a kid can draw in the kitchen enough to make it "dirty" as if some chalk on the ground is as bad as animal filth

@ulla armor values for the bird, rainbow and unicorn will need to be patched manually for CE. also, as it stands, the caterpillar will not use the CE ammo system.

This mod shouldn't cause bugs because it has no code, only textures. Can you post the full error?
