Event triggers like TestForEvents run per client, based on their position, leading to desync.

I have reworked this for Mp Syncing and optimized it. Now included in my OptimizerMod if they use this mod. Should optimize the syncing.

I know that this is a large ask, but do you think you might ever update this mod to make it a bit more time-dynamic? Like being able to adjust the times so that in the beginning, survivor events like car crashes and screams happen often but then as time goes on they become less and less frequent? That's one thing that I thought would be really cool to have in this mod for a while but I understand if that's too much of a coding nightmare for you lol

hey i have a cool idea what about a gunfire event that if its close enough that the player has a chance to actually be shot? maybe not in the head or neck but roles for the chest with a chance to be stopped by a vest or in the leg. i got the idea when i was running around in the backroads and i heard a gunshot that felt super close and my MP reactions kicked in and ran until i remembered i was in sp, it would have to be pretty rare but it could feel kinda like dayz where theres a chance of someone to be hunting you.

Unfortunately, in my experience, I haven't seen a lot of modded vehicles that work with this mod since many modded vehicles don't seem to have SmashedFront models. The one mod I've used so far that it 100% works with this one is Vanilla Vehicle Enhancer.

@killjoy Vanilla Meta Event are scheduled from Java, it's in the GameTime.class if I remember correctly. In my case I set them to 0 so they never trigger and recoded them in Lua.

How far away can the object spawns be from where you think the sound is? I've heard loads of events but NEVER found anything in hours of searching?

I'm curious where you found the meta events scripts? Or at the very least if you know how to trigger or test a meta event in debug mode? I'm looking to replace the default scream/gunshots with something but I can't find out out to test it in game.

I think shootouts or repeated gunfire would be cool aswell, and frequency of human made sound events should also lessen as time goes on. I feel like there is a lack of environmental storytelling in vinella PZ especially since your survivor is supposedly only a few days after the initial infection, sounds can convey a very large story about the environment and more modders should realize that. Love this mod thank you good job

idk how possible this is but police-themed events would be cool in my opinion. maybe a shootout or a police car crash

You could make fires a sandbox option, and set the default to off. I already play with a random fire mode and a lot of additional fire options just for some extra challenge, having it tided to car crashes and hordes would be great for a little extra chaos and unpredictability

@Acid Green i don't think it is possible
@Jombi It already create zombies on the scene you can set the number of zombies to a high number if you want to simulate horde spawning. But keep in mind the sound should draw zombies on scene already

@plops By default jacket/pants/hats/melee/ranged and bags with ammo/food/meds. The items that spawn and the chance to spawn are configurable in sandbox options.

For zombies/survivors/items it sticks to vanilla, I've manually defined what can spawn in the mod. For cars it build a list of every cars that should include modded one if they have a "SmashedFront" definitions. It could be possible to include a list of items in sandbox options in a similar way the game "Stater Kit" option works i'll probably implement it next patches
