Great mod,
but unfortunately there should be a way to introduce an automatic mechanism.
The biggest problem in the game is that nations join factions during war. There should be a way to prevent that somehow.

This mod the other way around would also be interesting.
In other words, to prohibit existing factions from accepting new members.
Combined with this mod it would be extremely helpful.

Why does this prevent you from using it if you are at war? This makes it useless in a civil war, which, it seems to me, would be the primary use case.

Mod updated again. I saw my mistakes. Now mod changes the event that countries ask to join faction or invites other countries. If you play with another mod that changes generic events it will not compatible.

I'm hoping this will stop nations joining factions right when you declare war on them? Or is the AI quick enough to call their allies for aid before the mod makes them leave again?

This mod doesn't work. I have apply it on many Nations but they always joins Allies Axis or Chinese league...

Perfect for the USA States Redux mod when you still want to play with the whole world, but don't want them directly intervening. Sure, you can disable faction joining in the game rules, but that disables it for all AI.

This is the most useful mod ive ever had, however any chance you could do a diplomatic action for a targeted AI country to not give out guarantees of independence or accept requests for guarantees by others? its incredibly annoying when a country im a day away from declaring war on just randomly gets this guarantee from mainly the UK even if that country has no relation to the UK or the allies and i end up in a world war im not ready for.
