(yes i prefer this over ABF and MH)
The lube, coolant and maintenance need can be disabled by deleting a line each, in the mod's XML files (I've been nagging Killa from the start about mod options for those, but he thinks those aren't a big deal.)
All well and good, except that I really DON'T like some of the design decisions.
The androids before demanded food and joy - and with the Robot trait from one of the Misc. Robots mod, they didn't even need that.
They were the perfect non-whiny colonists.
Now, the synstructs need ALLLLL sorts of crap - very regular maintenance (sleep), lubricant, coolant - they've become almost more maintenance-heavy than the bloody humans and xenohumans themselves!
And the main reason why I used this Android mod was PRECISELY to have *far less whiny colonists*.
Synstructs was a definite STEP BACK in terms of ease-of-use and convenience.
And THAT is exactly why I'll make sure that this mod is updated to 1.6, even if I have to pay someone to do it. Because I want the stoic chads of this mod, rather than the artificial wimps of Synstructs.
And this Mod has a Place in My Hearth because you say something and They make the Job done without Crying. Because Crying is for the Meatybits who do the hole Charisma Stuff.
I'm lazy
1. ABF is pretty new still.
2. Ppl who gave this one awards but play the newest one, usually don't give each iteration a new reward. That would be silly.
People keep demanding mods be made more modular
Cant do both
I'm not happy about this having to be reposted.
1. Make sure you have a valid bed. Androids are forbidden from using normal beds by default. That's what the restrictions gizmo is for.
2. Androids use repair stims instead of organic medicine. The tooltip cannot differentiate between them, though, so you need to manually check whether you have enough.
3. Some operations require medicine of higher quality. Check your android's medicine restriction, so it at least shows industrial medicine.
@maxon: You installed it wrong, then, or Steam messed up the download. Un- and re-subscribe to both this and its dependencies and try again.
you also dont use this on 1.5
i cant build the Skymind Core, i research it but in the building menu they does not exist.
In Dev mode i find the Core, but when i destroy the core a massive Error Log came in dev mode.
