Rimsenal isn't being patched due to the patch referencing "Rimsenal - Core" instead of "Rimsenal: Murder diversified"as the mod name.
On the same note, several weapons of rimsenal can't be found by the patch such as GD weapons.

如果你没有异常DLC,会显示一条黄字报错"Defs/ThingDef[defName="Gun_HellcatRifle"]",你可以遵循以下路径workshop\content\294100\2917732219\Patches,找到Anomaly这个文件删掉就可以解决。

Encountered some issues with the patches:
CE armory changed some names with "CE_" prefix added
"CE_Gun_MFive" does not exist.

Rimsenal AVP patch tries to patch removed guns

Rimsenal Security Pack patch:
Gun_NestMMG renamed to Gun_NestHMG
Missile launcher removed
and there seems to be new content with no patches

For 1.4, the patch Anomaly.xml tries to run (even though Anomaly requires 1.5), and so it causes a red error on load. I converted this mod to a local copy and renamed Anomaly.xml to prevent that error.

Hi yo, just letting you know that in the patch for Rimsenal - Augmented Vanilla Pack are still references to the following weapons which don't exist as Defs in Rimsenal - AVP anymore for version 1.6 (and 1.5 as far as i can tell):

SmartMG
Gun_SmartPistol
Gun_SmartRifle
Gun_SMG
Gun_SmartSniperRifle

So these should be removed.

@IsaacZhuang @JoeOwnage GD_MSSS refers to the Grey Dale faction's "Ocelot" Modular Sidearm- Spitfire from Rimsenal- Core. Simply chucking the Muzzle Flash mod (followed by any MF patch mods) to the bottom of the load order fixed it for me. Or at least I think so because my game loaded for longer before hitting a different, totally-unrelated error (#1700LongModListDebuggingFun)

@JoeOwnage I'm getting the exact same error as you with the exact same "GD_MSSS" defName not being found. Seeing it in the Player.log file because I'm not even getting to the main menu yet. Does anyone know what modded gun GD_MSSS might refer to?

Getting interesting errors with this one. No logs for proof sadly, but specifically with the Bolt Action Rifle I am noticing the muzzle flashes reflecting in the water even when the weapon is being fired clear across the map, no where near a reflection source.

Can you please add an "auto patcher" function? If a mod is unsupported, it should use the default yellow flash.

Hi there, I try to create xml like presets but I can't deal with "chargeblasterturret" which is the autocannon on the back of diablo, warqueen, centurion, this three have no flash after I try ways to solve.

Well the flash actually works after patched, only if pawns equip it by using CharacterEditor, but normally this can't be happen.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet but I have found an issue with run and gun+CE which causes the muzzle flash to appear, even though there is no ammo in the gun and no shot was fired. This is more likely to be a CE with Run and Gun than an issue with your mod, to be honest.

[1] Performance optimization, This mod is fast enough in the previous version but it is faster and less memory usage now.

@Memmo: The is an option in debug menu to hot reaload the muzzle flash patch. You dont have to restart your game.
