You're not. You can't change it. I stopped working on the mod before making it changeable.

Running around means this: After stopping in the station the loco uncouples the cars, pulls forward over a (in this case imaginary) switch. Then it drives backwards around the cars (hence the term 'running around') and couples to the other side of the cars.

Gameplay-wise it basically is a push-pull plus moving the engines to the other side of the train

So I'm slowly going through the Steam Workshop for TF2 and came upon this mod. It's SO damned good! Thank you for your hard work numberless! My only problem is that I am not a railway expert in the slightest - I love the game for its brain-exercising problem solving. That being said, could somebody do a brief explanation of terms like "Run around train" mean? "Push-pull, flip engines" I have worked out. While I'm here, thanks to 'The Former' for that little tip - useful.

This probably occurred to most people but it didn't to me so for those like me who didn't figure it out right away... If you want to execute a three point turn (back out of station, turn off onto a Y-shaped junction, forward to next station), use a terminus station for the turnaround point, not a waypoint. Ideally, use it in conjunction with mods that give you functionally invisible platforms so you don't have to have an empty platform lying around everywhere.

so i am having an issue with this mod i have used it before and love it but the line setting for vanilla or any that flip the engine are now for some reason not working not sure why

This is AMAZING!!!!!! Perfect for a heritage railway and the engines running backwards half the time.

The mod is currently broken at the moment

I tried loading the mod again in my savgame again. Started game, clicked on a train, same result, game freezes, error message "an error has occurred" then game crashes!
I had used this mod successfully with this game before we had this problem. Maybe I am using a mod that you are not using that's causing the problem?

@Norfolk_Chris worked for me with several hundred mods loaded.

I'm sorry when I reactivated the mod in my current savegame, ( It has loads of mods.) the game crashed whenever I tried to click on any train.
I suspect the "testing branch" is a pristine game with few or no mods running.

please let us know wean it is fix on the main branch. i need this mod for my spacial trains in my world.

Sorry, can confirm today that this mod is still NOT WORKING, game crashes immediately when a train is clicked on!

This mod is one of the best mods for the game for steam workings, good luck with getting it working! Please do not feel pressured though, its just a mod for train game.

What exactly did the Devs change that caused this mod to break exactly? I am curious.

Same as others, game notified me of a crash log and that this mod causes issues while trying to fetch lua causing crashes. Glad you are working on it ^^

After some useless crash logs and having 1500 mods I found out this mod causes the crash. glad it's already noted. hope it gets fixed soon.

For now, open Steam, select Transport Fever 2, then properties (the wheel icon), then beta, then insert beta code buildArchive35320, then click check and opt in: this will revert the game to the last build that. This should be in the description of every major script mod

Its probably worth pointing out the patch came out two days ago and this is a fairly major script based mod, so give Nina a bit of breathing room - I'm sure she's looking into it, but it's probably not a straightforward thing to fix either since the patch changed some of the UI scripts that this mod used to rely on.

I've had to disable this mod to be able to play. Are we going to get a fix?

Mod broken, crashes the game whenever I hover my mouse over any train

confirm aswell, Train shunter crashes game at the moment. Game Vers.27/7 patch

Can confirm this has broken with the 27/7 patch. Removed Shunter and the crash stopped when clicking on a train.

I've also had problems with this mod after the new patch, game keeps crashing when I click on the trains I send out of the depot. Let's hope this gets fixed quickly.

Yup, always "Line 107" being the script error.

As soon as you send a train onto a line, you can no longer touch the thing at all or the game hangs and crashes.

Looks like the new patch has broken something with the mod, same report as blackwizard back in June.

Don't need controller for controller UI.
