If you leave and join back it allows you to drop them out of your inventory :)

I can choose the place option but I simply move them to where I click and they stay in my inventory unable to be interacted with besides that

Threw out some berries and violet's out a 2nd story window on a server and they stayed in my inventory but I can't interact with them and they are laying on the ground below the window

How is this not in vanilla? You have to drag corpses from them 4th floor to the bottom manually. Crazy.
Items & furniture could lose durability if you throw them out the window as a suggestion

Is this multiplayer compatible? Can you throw watches that alarms are set?

Yes, you can take a filled garbage bag and throw it out of an window or over a fence

Is there a way to make it so you throw a bag/object out of a tall fence?
