is the mod still broken?

Can you make a new appliance that is paper plates, instead of it always being on?

What's the matter with you??? I used up my plates for mere tables and couldn't serve food any more and lost quickly. You crazy person.

Is this mod last game update compatible?

I like Rivet's Idea of making it an Alternativ to normal Plates with their own Cons perhaps make them create more Dirt while Eating or reduce eating speed(since you would be using Plastic cutlery, to stay non-Eco)

Start plates are unlimited but the big stacks of plates are limited

Mod doesn't work. The plates are not unlimited. Better hope you only get 3 customers to start.

I decided to try it out, but interestingly it broke my soaking sinks. When I unsubscribed, they worked again.

I was thinking about trying this but I'm completely out of space because I'm automating 13 or 14 items. What I really need is a bigger plate stack. Does that exist currently?

has it been experimented with making the paper plates a side-grade you can research from the regular plates?
i feel it might be a good idea to have both options available in a run, that way you can still use the dishwasher and such during slow hours and use the paper plates when rushes start to come, for example
perhaps a coin cost for each paper plate taken, or perhaps a config option to change how many paper plates can be taken from the stack for those who feel infinite plates is unfair (such as a few of my friends)

Thanks for pointing that out. There is now a new version available that should fix the issue. I'm not sure though how the change affects saved runs

It seems to have affected my other runs now too. I'm currently doing a mini cafe run and my plates are unlimited but i cant throw them away and have to wash them. And this is while i have the mod disabled. Help lol

The mod isnt working properly for me. I can throw the plates away but a plate stack isnt unlimited for me. Anyone else had this problem and have a fix?

I discussed this as a mod idea with a couple of my friends but I was wanting it to be an upgrade from regular plates where you had to research a plate stack to get paper plates which could be thrown away instead of applying to all plates.
though I suppose you may also need to change all the dishes so they spawn a paper plate instead of a regular one. I haven't looked into modding myself so I have no clue

Having a card is the goal, however we are still trying to figure out how to implement it. For now it is possible to enable or disable the mod for a run via the mod preferences menu.

i agree with W8ASEC if its as a card would be more immersive

Is there a way to mod this in as a card instead of applying to all games? I'd install it if it just put a new card in but don't really want it to apply to all games

I have used this mod for quite a few games so far and no issues.

If you take the Picky Eaters Card the leftover food and the plate will take up two spaces in your bins so be prepared.
