Glass has 75% of obsidian's edge value, but I guess some edge is better than none? :) I seem to recall the bolts performing reasonably but dwarves being a bit weird about putting them in stockpiles.

lol, no doubt. DF ain't Elder Scrolls, but I figured at least slicing (shear?) might be as good as obsidian, which works well against skin, leather, and wood (i.e. elves)

How would you say the bolts compare to wood/bone? At the very least, it'd give you infinite for archery practice!

Didn't see the mechanisms mod, so will probably grab that. Would be incredible to have a collection that gets updated if you get around to it, since I don't know how to add mods to a world after generation.

I put up Glass Mechanisms before this one, so far so good. I have a bunch of that other stuff lying around from 47.05 that I can dig up. Fair warning, glass weapons are terrible . XD

Any chance you're working on a "Glassworking Expanded" mod? Kinda like that Stoneworking Expanded mod, but Glass; with more stuff beyond adding Beds.

Like Mechanisms, Buckets, Minecarts, Bolts, etc.
