is a suggestion I put in the Keen support forum. I *THINK* it would be fairly easy to implement and given your experience, as evidenced by THIS mod, with modifying the UI used in the game, thought you might be interested.

There is definitely a performance difference. With this script, the game works more stable and there are no lags in sim

Neat! Ill give it a few days to see if anyone else comes up with some issues and then to the main branch it goes! I'm hoping the changes I made are going to see some huge performance gains.

Yeah i dont think it has anything to do with the PAM script, but small grid in general getting messed up :). Not fixed yet

But normal ones don't work either. In the regular version of Easy Inventory Management both work fine

Provide how and what detail? I'm not a programmer. I just load the script, set it up and it doesn't work. The autopilot works, the ship flies and starts drilling, but the ore does not go to the containers. I use this script often and it has always worked.

Welders seem to be working fine, but the below 2 issues can affect specific welders and make them not pull components.

Found 2 issues: Incorrect caching of blocks if they are in a construction state, Small grid caching is not producing the correct results. fix is TBD.

You need to provide more detail about the PAM script. I dont think it should affect inventory. I'll check the welder issue.

Welders do not work in this version, they do not collect components from containers. And it seems that in both versions there is some problem when using the PAM script. The ore remains in drills and does not respond to any quota and limit settings.
