I was going to install this until I read the comment below mine by Reynart. Whatever this guy is talking about sounds super complex, annoying, and I am going to skip this mod if even ONE workshop needs to be "fixed".

For anyone still interested, it's possible to fix the magma workshops by editing graphics_workshops.txt and workshops_nofloor.png within \steamapps\common\Dwarf Fortress\data\installed_mods\workshops_without_floors\graphics\. The information pertaining to the magma workshops are the last four entries within the text file and image. You just need to cut the vanilla magma workshops using something like paint.net and replace the bottom four within the modded image. The same goes for the text file—replace the four chunks of text relating to the magma workshops with the vanilla text and you'll be good to go. The vanilla assets are located in steamapps\common\Dwarf Fortress\data\vanilla\vanilla_buildings_graphics\graphics

Anyone knows if he is still active or would know, if it is possible to make the invisibility be triggerd by a toggle?

It would be cool if there was a toggle if you want the workshop floor or not, that will probably fix the lava issue

For those who don't like the look of lava, you only require the one square under the graphic furnace (?).

I really want to love this mod. But the fact that lava-based workshops look weird without the floor forces me to consider the mod. I know its just few workshops that have this problem but magma forges and magma smelters will be used eventually tourgh fort's lifespan.

Is there any way for you to make it possible to toggle on/off whether you want the floor or not?

Have to second what Tamren is asking. Really like this mod, but the placement can be a bit haphazard with sites that aren't 3x3.

I don't suppose you could make another version of this mod that has transparent floors, but it keeps the square outline of the workshop? I like this mod but I find it difficult to click on specific workshops and built multiple workshops in a row because there is nothing that indicates the footprint of each one. When workships are constructed it just looks like a pile of planks on the ground and that pile appears in a different spot depending on the type of workshop. It also looks a little weird with magma workshops because of the empty hole in the floor.

Perhaps it'd be wise to keep the floors for magma workshops, then? Just so it doesn't look strange hovering over lava...

@Yrame It just makes the graphics transparent, there are no functional changes in this mod.

Does this actually remove the floors, or just make them transparent? Asking in relation to magma workshops where if the floors don't actually exist any more, people could fall into the lava.

Load order issue, putting this mod at the bottom fixed my missing tile set

missing a chain tile set, reinstalling to check if fixed :)
