Alright, I got it working. It just wasn't updating any mods at all for some reason. After unsubscribing from them all and resubscribing they started working.

@Pannopap that's very weird, I even tried to download it myself and it detects it fine, are you sure you have it enabled and if you do does it really not show the skins in the "change skin" menu?

These look great! Sadly I haven't been able to get them to show up in game though.
