If it isn't present, that's probably just Steam. Verify game files maybe

At least one customer will ALWAYS order a starter. The chance only applies to additional starter orders, as it is in the base game. The point of the mod is to provide configurable difficulty levels, not completely change how the game works.

Would suggest using something like Cards Manager if you want to prevent Starter Cards from appearing as options.

I seem to be having issues with eliminating the chance for someone to order a starter. I set the modifier to 0% but it doesn't seem to be doing anything and the customers are still ordering starters. Is there something I'm not doing correctly?

You'd be right. Mods that require communication between host and clients are broken by something in the base game. We're working on it separately because this is not an issue caused by the individual mods.

only the host seems to be able to noclip through things other players cannot, the speed modifier works for all though

I just don't know why, but Custom Difficulty don't show up in the mod preferences menu, so it's not working anymore. And I tried to uninstall it, install it again, do the same with every mods, restart the game every times, it just don't work. And it's not the only mod doing that. Also, it's not just today, it's been like that for a long time

can you add categorys for items? what i mean by that is that you can change the % to get automatic items from basic items (so you can switch autowasher to a lower chance the manual washer or the inverse) like we could make it so its a 10% chance for the item to be automatic rather then normal. i dont know if it make sense

Interesting, I appreciate the informative reply :)

I was mostly looking for a convenient solution to letting a disconnected player rejoin and get back into positions rather than restarting a day or jumping through menus. Honestly though I'd rather them not No-Clip during the day period, it's such a niche scenario though I'll just switch to changing Custom Difficulty's collition settings when needed instead. I do prefer your mod anyway. :)

Tldr: No

While it would be possible in theory, a mod needs to take control of the player collider to do no clip. It's not a good idea to have multiple no clip mods active at once, and I'd rather not mess with having to maintain compatibility with other no clip mods. Since Custom Difficulty is intended to provide more than just no clip, the compatibility function is simply a way to disable its control over colliders completely.

The best course of action is to set Custom Difficulty to Compatibility mode and request that Smart NoClip implement layer specific collision settings.

Tldr: Would it be possible to seperate Player to Player collision from "Day/Prep - Player Collides with" into its own toggle(s)?

I'll admit it's probably unnecessary but it could possibly allow for better mod compatibility with other No-Clip mods (I'm personally looking at Smart NoClip here) by setting "Player Collides with" to Mod Compatibility while still allowing for Player to Player collisions to be disable. Which sadly I haven't really seen another mod implement.

Currently "Everything except players" or "Appliances and Walls Only" + another No-Clip mod makes appliances solid during no-clip and any other setting lets players clip through things they shouldn't while no-clip is disabled. While "Mod Compatibility" would re-enable Player to Player collisions.

Thank you for taking the time to read this!! I understand if this is something you can't or do not wish to add. It's the only part of your mod I can't get to work the way I'd like so figured I'd ask :)

I subscribed to the “Custom Difficulty” mode and the “Preference System” mode. However, the "Custom Difficulty" tab does not appear in the "Mod preference" tab... "Shop", "Customers" and "miscellaneous" in "Custom Difficulty" shown in the photo and description are all missing.

Depending on the option. Some of them have vanilla scaling by day, or by number of players. Default is a fixed value, vanilla uses said scaling.

I dunno if anyone reported it but I checked all of my mods and I 100% am sure that turning on your mod causes mod that allows you to walk through appliances during prep to stop working

I dunno why or what overlap there is but kinda hopeing there is a way to get both working

In multiplayer mode, when I change the value of "Day-Player Collides With" to "Appliances and Walls Only", it seems that this effect only works for me, and others are still hit by me.

Maybe a bug with this mod. I had a franchise with solo dining card (-1 max group size). After creating a new restaurant with the franchise (with this mod on at the time of creation) my group size showed "999-0" instead of "1-1", and I had to go into settings provided by this mod to manually set it to "1-1". I don't have other mods that might mess with group sizes.

Also if I remove this mod the games shows the save as invalid and forces me to abandon.

Hi, thanks for the mod (and other mods you make)!

Would you consider adding an option to lock shop reroll cost so that it doesn't increase? Right now if I want to reroll multiple times a day I need to go deep into the options to reset each time.

For everyone that cannot find the options - you have to go into the game first. I was confused as well but the main menu options does not work! You have to actually start a game first.

Hit a small bug today: The card "Simplicity" (Desks can only be used once a day) causes Auto-upgrade to use the charge for every type of desk without applying it. Happens with both start and end of day.

All mods utilizing PreferenceSystem for its preferences have their settings there to prevent clogging up the root of the pause menu :)

I have subscribed to this and it appears in the mod menu in game but i cannot find out how to access the menu to configure the settings for this. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

I rest my case on this :)) There's a reason it's made this way, as an alternative mode of operation to a feature that others have already made, and it's staying the way it is barring major changes in the game that make it impossible to do (which is unlikely)

I can see your point of view of the "Host should be in charge", but that would work if everyone has Custom Difficulty installed. Since most people don't have the Custom Difficulty mod installed, but use one of the other mods, it just makes the Custom Difficulty mod kinda useless for the walk through walls feature, because it relies on the host having that particular mod.

That is a shame, as the feature works smoother in Custom Difficulty than in either Ghost Prep or Noclip.

Exactly that. You are still able to use those mods if you so choose. That's PlateUp for you. I can easily prevent those other mods from working through a modification in Custom Difficulty if I so choose to, but I'm not going to.

"Host control" is for everyone using Custom Difficulty. I don't control what other mods do/don't do
