love the mod! but every car becomes a missile after installing it, any way to reduce HP for all cars by about 30% or so?

I took a closer look, and yes, reversing is also affected.
Forward speed is added to reverse speed!

@Prof.Liebstrumpf It should affect backwards driving as well, the physics are either on or off, no in between. IIRC vanilla backwards driving was quite fast.

@Prof.Liebstrumpf Thats interesting - The physics get activated on the 'onEnterVehicle' event. My guess is that "Project RV Interior" doesn't fire this event when you use the teleport. That would explain why it works when you exit / enter afterwards.

Oh.. And the manual gear shifting stops working too, until i reenter the car. lol.

I encountered to a strange "bug" with the "Project RV Interior" Mod.
If i sit in the car and teleporting into the RV and BACK, the speed of the car going to be "default". Have to leave the car and enter again to get the speed of this mod back.
It's only affecting the forward driving speed and not backwards, and NO BUG ERRORS.

I noticed it with the vans on driving on grass. That's strange. 🤨

Is there some way to get version for 42.11? I accidentally copied the updated version of mod, now the game crashes on loading screen. Really don't want to throw my 4 month survival in trash.

I validated my files before copying the zombie folder and it is working without issue. Thank you for the timely and effective update.

idk if anyone else has the same issue, but I put the new modded B42 zombie folder over onto, well, zombie, and got CTD on load

worked again after validating, so im thinking its either this, or a conflict with another modi have installed rn, just as a heads up

I drive a manual in real life (as do most people in my country), but in games I'm 100% into automatics. But I absolutely love that, unlike in most driving games besides simulators, you made it like real life where you can change gears even with automatic.

Didn't have the time to update yet, will be a couple more days.

I also crashed on world gen with the update. I copied the files again as the tooltip instructed and the crash occurred when I made a new run. I started the game again (after the crash) and was able to play for a while before the game crashed again. I think it had to do with approaching a cell with cars in it as there were none where I started.

The feeling of disappointment I get whenever i'm forced to drive an auto irl is the same disappointment when this mod wouldn't work with the latest patch. Like trynna push the clutch and wiggle the shifter on an auto lol

Looks like PZ got an update again. I'll need some time to update. You should be able to continue playing by doing 'verify integrity of game files'. Remember to make backups of your save games.

Agreed, This mod feels much better than realistic. Shame really, cause i really wanted to try out PSC, but found RCP too jerky.. this one is just smooth

I tried "Realistic Car Physics" and I have to say that I prefer this one.

@user404 project summer car seems to tie in with its own car physics mod by that mod developer 'realistic car physics'

i enabled the mod before doing the tutorial, i forget to disable the mod after doing the tutorial my game wont open, rn trying to reinstall the game

Tested it out in 42.11 and so far it works with no problems.

Looks great in the preview. Then you actually play with it and find out that every car you drive turned into that same sports car, that every car can plow through hordes with no worries in the world and can go 60Mph in reverse. It gets even more jarring when you play with trucks that are supposed to have very low acceleration for balance purposes. I will rather stick with vanilla balancing, although I will miss the seamless reverse flip, that is fun to do.
