@Direwolf I uploaded a fanpatch that makes their graphics work again so they shouldn't always be breasting so boobily as often. Still will sometimes, as is their way I suppose.

@CatManThree- I think it's because they use the "Elven" pattern of "building." So while during trades and generation they do seem to have access to metals, visiting them in Adventure will just lead you to a bunch of ladies in trees.
You could change this by editing their raws to live in towns or caves instead. I like them in the trees though, personally.

Structures for their sites in adventure mode don't seem to generate at all. I haven't seen anyone comment on this so I'm a little confused.

Regarding hostility to Necromancers - goblins, elves and kobolds seem to be hostile to them as they often raid/destroy Necro towers during worldgen (can be viewed in Legends). It would be better if Necros had a friendly civ, they have enough vanilla enemies.

A Simple Pigeon has a good idea, I wish I knew how.

I think one thing you could do is, check through the raws. I believe they have Death as a possible Worship, which increases their tendencies to *become* Necromancers. Or at least tolerate them I'd figure.

If you remove that, they might be more hostile to them. I don't know that for sure though.

How do you help Erinys uphold their traditions?

I like the mod but sadly some of the items it adds have insanely high prices when they are made from certain materials and almost worthless when made from others, the highest worth i saw yet was 25 million - this obviously completely breaks game balance.

A fix would be appreciated, I really love a few Erinys soldiers to mow down my enemies.

Are the very rare males supposed to show up completely nude? I just saw one for the first time in a caravan that visited my base and the guy had nothing on despite supposedly being a bowman.

Is it possible to make certain civs more hostile to necromancer towers? I think this race would be a really good candidate to make as "defenders of life" or some such, where they'd mostly stay out of international politics until they saw a necromancer tower pop up nearby. Necromancers have no natural predators during worldgen and have a tendency to create necro-pocalypses if the history goes too long, so it would be nice to have a natural check on their influence somehow.

I think it was an accident. Definitely worth adding that tag to their raws.

Hm, one question. Is their apparent inability to learn to swim intentional or an oversight? Forced to train my soldiers due to cave dwellers hiding in lakes and the erinyes only get the drowning and never swimming level. A quick raw check and I found dwarves SWIMS_LEARNED while erinyes don't (not sure if that is what is doing it).

I don't know what it is but these people flood my fortress every time. But luckily I love them. Especially when they apply for citizenship; 2 years of mooching in my tavern, then lifetime military draft!

Be wary when one goes insane though, they live forever and apparently don't need to eat or drink. There is a 12 foot naked women running through the halls babbling incoherently at all hours of the night and day! >_<

Is it normal that the colossal shield has the exact same name as a regular shield?

For some reason this mod prevents the "Region" map generation preset from generating, instead it generates the normal Island preset.

Do you have any intention of making them playable again?

For some reason ever since the first few forts on steam when this mod came out everything was fine but now i get not zero, but next to zero erinyes visitors throughout any fort on any biome, any distance settled from, and with any relation to them, trading tons of wealth, gifting tons of wealth, starting as a big civ that started next to erinyes on world gen, starting as a 1 pop civ. always next to no erinyes visitors

In the graphics_valkyrie.txt file there are many tokens that I think are a typo (missing the 'T'), but later in the raw it uses TISSUE_MIN_LENGTH so I'm not confident.

If it is intentional, can you help me understand what

@Lunacy: It's unlikely to do with the mod.

Unless a "Long-Term Resident" is actually a citizen, they cannot hold a Noble position. After ~3 years, your new friends should apply for Citizenship. I currently have an Erinyes Mayor, and a full Militia squad.

I dismissed some mercanaries coming to kill cavern monsters and now they're returning and joining my civ, but I can't assign them any noble positions or to any militias? Is that intended?

i'm the only one with the problem that on ghouls, zombies, vampires, etc. its a regular skin? Despite the fact that the mod files have textures for every possible type of undead
