In the C menu (why not just use the mod config menu?), selecting "general" leads to a blank screen I can't get rid of (makes sounds when you press some buttons though) unless I hold R. Needs Rep+ update?

it seems that similarly to enhanced boss bars until the latest update, repentogon makes champion bosses have the wrong icons in their indicators

Gonna leave a comment here in case it helps others who were stuck like I was. The indicators ended up completely stuck in the bottom right and thus stopped showing where the enemies actually were. I did what people here recommended for fixing the "general dss menu page blank" problem and deleted
<game path>/data/off-screen indicators
and that worked for me. Hope this helps folks!

When trying to open the general menu in settings it shows nothing and forces me to back out to menu, trying to disable the pop-up at the begining

DSS menu doesn't work fo me(

there is already an option for it in said menu

can you make it so you can remove/change the keybinds/controller button to access the setting? I dont want to access the settings at all with my controller since I use the right thumbstick for another mod. I don't really need easy access to the settings.

great mod but the most recent update has broken the general settings menu (totally blank, gets stuck open until you quit and re-enter the run) which means im stuck with the annoying alert at the bottom of each run, wont be using until thats fixed, godspeed

using DSS means there are no dependencies to other mods if you wanna edit your config and it's a lot more flexible (just look at what Fiend Folio did with their credit menu, you would not be able to do that with config menu)
+ I find DSS to be way nicer to work with, especially after using it for Reworked Foes

Unsubscribing and resubbing seemed to have fixed it with the latest version! Just out of curiosity, is there a reason you decided to use the DSS menu in place of the more commonly used Mod Config Menu? Other than Encyclopedia and now this one, I've never seen DSS used ha

It's been a minute since I messed with lua but I suspect there may be a global variable that's being overwritten by accident? Or maybe it's as simple as a require pointing to the wrong place

I'm also having the issue of a broken Encylopedia after the update. Poking around in the log I found this:

So it appears that somehow this mod is causing the Encyclopedia's gfx/ui to become overwritten or ignored. Without knowing a ton about BoI's modding, my initial guess is that perhaps some extra files were included in the workshop version? Looking through your github the dss luas are new to this version so perhaps it's looking in the wrong place or there's some missing

Yes, i have the same problem, when i open Encylopedia the character freezes with broken menu. This problem happened when you updated the mod in 10 Oct.

try re-installing the mod perhaps

After the update, menu of Encyclopedia mod stopped working properly (missing background, and character is uncontrollable after closing it's menu). There were no issues before the update

It absolutely did. I have never had a mod update reset all of my settings back to default before. Not once. I've got over 100 mods, changing all my settings back would take quite a while.

mate, it didnt break your mod list the game just shits itself whenever *any* mod has errors
so no i will not revert it, it takes like 5 minutes to reinstall the mod and change your settings back

Can confirm, the latest update completely borked my entire mod list. Reset all the settings. Thank god I had recently backed them up when copying them to my laptop. Update should probably be reverted for now.
