Do the RCS thrusters not work with certain conveyors? I have some hooked up to the armored conveyors from here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1864380341 And despite the ship having hydrogen, they don't seem to work.

They also don't appear to be OPEN, is there something additional I need to do?

SBY ships are fast and maneuverable. Even Carrier Andromedas can whip a 180 in just a few seconds. I suggest just using a lesser speed mod, somewhere between 200L and 500L. I also suggest using decent inertial dampeners, such as the...well, OP Inertia Dampener mod.

Yes, but i am mainly trying to make smaller early UNCF style ships, using the scale of the nuclear engines and Compression laser weapons for reference- at that scale- similar to the Isokaze and Murasame classes- the nuclear engines are borderline unusable.

@Draxis looking at the weapon pack, and reactor pack, these thrusters are mean't for ships that aren't any form of small. we're talking aboslutely hulking ships that could only be found on the steam workshop. ships that'll try their hardest to break your game if you spawned them in.

(By force-limiter i mean some kind of slider, similar to thrust override but instead limiting the amount of thrust the engines can produce, allowing you to tune the engine's power to match the mass of your ship)

Is there any way for you to implement some kind of force-limiter on these? They are awesome engines and i adore how they look and sound, but when i try and use even the medium and fusion drives my ship accelerates completely uncontrollably. (This is partially my fault, I do use a unlimited speed-cap mod and i tend to build more towards smaller frigate sized ships)

@Kipklysmic the gatlantis thrusters are kinda hard as they are practically are one with the hull instead of like the UNCF or gamilon drives

I would have preferred an inbetween size, personally. My Hipper class cruisers are smaller scale than the Yamatos and the dreadnought thruster (and new yamato thruster) is a little too small for them.

Just mentioning this because my ships have carousel hangars like the 2199 Yamato and they're absolutely huge.

Addition to the last comment: I tested the size of the Dreadnought's engine on my build and it fits flawlessly. Also, the Yamato drive in the mod's screenshots appears to have the same dimensions as the current Dreadnought drive after testing and comparing on my own. Was it upscaled on accident? Please do something about this.

The Yamato's wave motion drive is seriously WAY too big, it's as big as the Andromeda's engine (it should be the size of the Dreadnought's) and I physically cannot make a 1:1 build with it because it just takes up half of the entire back of the ship... PLEASE rescale this engine.

i love the new update just wished the RCS had more power othwise really great update

So here's the big question. Can a single thruster placed on a large ship which is sized close to the Yamato in total mass produce enough thrust to make the ship agile AND can it be powered sufficiently by one of your Wave Motion Reactors while also powering a complement of your Star Blazers weapon?

Noice! I gotta ask where do you get your information? I have all the games but I can't read the language and text translations from pics I take are not as useful as you'd think. I only know what the ships from the games do from flying them in combat

dam the Type-Ro Yamato WMD is big looks gr8 i know this is a long shot but can you make an Type-Ro Yamato WMDthats just 1 blocks smaller in diameter? or something like that the ship im putting them on is alredy over 150k block count
