@DEAGLE_3agle Thanks! And I'm aware; someone uploaded all the L4D1+2 voice lines of the Arcade survivors and NPCs on Nexus Mods with sound cache and all the bells and whistles.

That's why I mentioned that I copy-pasted the lines that got repurposed from your subs.

I'll probably upload them in the coming days or so after a little more fine-tuning.

Just so you know, In the main arcade port the Voicelines + subtitles are pulled from the L4D2 survivors files, that's why there's many repeated lines in the L4D1 survivor sub/voice files. It only pulls the map-specific lines (world lines/ rescue vehicle lines/ Sacrifice lines/ etc.). Keep this in mind when porting the L4D1 voice files over.

Okay, so I've now done the entirety of the L4D1 subtitles - all the "world", "arrive", and "generic" lines are translated, and the rest of the reused lines have been copy-pasted from your subtitles.

I've also made some very minor adjustments to your original subs, like a few spelling, translation, grammar fixes, and changing "Jordan:" to "Blake:", for example.

So, I wanted to ask if you're maybe okay with me uploading those here (Never uploaded anything here before, so I'd need to figure out how that works exactly, lol) If yes, I would do so and of course credit you.

Yusuke's lines are done (well, as done as Google and DeepL can get them), still working on the others though.

A small suggestion, giving us the already converted dat files woulda been a whole lot better lol. Anyway I did everything as instructed and my subtitles are playing a bunch of random unrelated lines in white text. Any idea why that might be? Appreciate you translating everything btw, and would love to use it!

Just know that once I finish the spread sheet for Jordan and Sara's L4D1 lines, then I might* work on it.

If you want to do that, Just copy the subs of the character you want (from this mod), delete the original subtitles of the corresponding character from a copy of the main sub sheet (found in pak01_dir.vpk), then paste the AC subs into it.

Haruka - Coach (Coach lines)
Yusuke - Gambler (Nick lines)
Jordan - Mechanic (Ellis lines)
Sara - Producer (Rochelle lines)
