I had one issue with a bot that got stuck between the stone and the sword which is why I placed a capsule collider over them so nobody (no bot nor player) can get stuck in that space.
I'm guessing you haven't been able to reproduce the players not moving issue?
That was the spawn objects will spawn at a random position inside the cloud because the the rotating objects will change the spawn locations location like on a marry go round.
For a more randomize location it could even be move along a line on the z-axis by 0.100
I hope some of my suggestions are usefull and not annoying. It sounds a lot but they are just small details I think could add to the fun of the Mod.
I let the players scale down to 0.800 on start and respawn (I hope in the future we can just change the settings of the player pawns instead of this approach).
I added a delay of 0.300 befor the coin and bag drop and changed the time the animation needs to 1.3 to give the players more time to get to the coins and bags. I also changed Ease Type from Linear to "Ease in Sine".
To figure out where the items drop the shadows are quite important so I scaled the coin by 1:1:2 for increase thickness and bigger shadow.
I also thought it might be useful to increase Movement Speed to 6.5 and Acceleration and Deceleration to 80.000 to allow quicker turns.
Overall really nice and thank you for adding this Mario Party inspired classic.
Assuming these players were randoms you're not in contact with (that you can ask directly), my best guess is they were either AFK or having connection issues.
The terrain on the tower is flat and the sand/rubble props do not have collision on them for anyone to get stuck on. Only the boulder with the sword on it has any collision. If that's where players are getting stuck, I can remove/adjust that. Otherwise, if it's happening elsewhere then I'm really not quite sure what could be causing it. No settings in the mod affect player location/speed. However, when players fall and respawn, the game drops them back on the tower. If respawning into a "stuck" spot is the issue, I can move the spawn. However, in my testing respawning was never an issue.
I'll try to reproduce the bug on my next game session with friends.
Could you tell me more about the players not moving issue? Does this happen consistently, and are you able to reproduce it? Does it happen to bots only? Does it happen in specific places on the map only? I'm wondering if this is an issue with players possibly disconnecting?
In terms of map size and cloud height, I tried to stay faithful to the original concept I recreated from. However, I'll look into expanding things because it might make more sense for matches closer to 8 players.
