Okay, i guess im gonna keep on using the stealth masks from Dead mans switch (which fit. weirdly, they fit), im waitin for da dieselpunk (i reccomend seeing iron harvest for some ideas)

@PiekłoNurek I flipped the graphics of the shako helmets sides.
I do not intent to add gas masks to this mod. However I’m thinking of planning a uniforms mod in a dieselpunk setting, some day.

also, gas masks would be cool (i know they are more dieselpunk-y, but the vanilla ones dont allow helmets. on the jaw slot, they might fit)

uhh, there is a small texture problem with the shako helmet - when turning left (pawns left side is to the left, which is the background) the "feather" or smth is on the wrong side, and while the pawn is to the right (left side is to the player) it also has the wrong side of the "feather". hope it gets fixed (im making steampunk elves colony, so yeah.)

@contragreen Oh yes, I forgot to mention: this option is currently unavailable, because the Vanilla Expanded Framework has reworked its toggleable patches and I haven’t yet figured out how to implement them anew.

hey, first, thanks for continuing to update the mod, second, currently I am unable to go in to the mod settings (checked to see if it was located in the patches section of VE Framework) to make Epaulettes, Aigulletes, and the Bedroll on the "on top" layer instead of the outer layer.

Alright, I am convinced. The hulk type uniforms will be reworked, although not as my top priority.

Okay but... that doesn't work. I don't want their shirts to stick out from under their uniforms, it looks wrong. There are no visible pants in game, and none of the other body types do this, so it just doesn't work and looks strange. Would it be possible to make a version that covers the torso completely for the hulk body type? Other than this issue these look great so it's really frustrating

@Tae This is intentional. As these jackets are uniforms I have given them a standardised length. Also this helps to indicate these do not cover the legs, in contrast to coats which fit the hulk body type

idk if this is just me, but these don't fit the "hulk" body type at all, theyre way too short. is this just how this mod is or do i need to be checking my other mods?

@Fish Not by default, but there are mods in the workshop that allow colouring of clothes, as well as the Ideology DLC. Alternatively you can try utilizing material colours by restricting stuff in the crafting menu (birdskin goes well for union, devilstrand makes nice french kepis or zouave caps for example).

@koni I started the game up again and received a different XML error message. However, after placing this mod on the first spot of the loading order, the error messages ceased. This was probably a mistake on my part, after all. Sorry about that, but thanks for updating this amazing mod regardless :)

Hey there, i've been getting a few XML errors on the startup log. It starts like this: "XML error: Duplicate XML node name specificApparelRequirements in this XML block (...)". I've narrowed this issue down to this mod.

Actually I removed the aiguillette as well as the other prestige tier items to appear in another yet unreleased mod

For me the agiulette is missing, I did some testing and even on a new Game with only VEF and Steamworl Uniforms the aiguilette is missing. Did you remove them? Or is the Problem on my Side..

The problem is that <RangedCooldownFactor> and <MeleeDamageFactor> is a Biotech only statdef. I don't have the Biotech DLC yet so yeah. I guess you need to add <MayRequire> tags for those statdefs.

There's also a minor patches failed on startup. You are using <MayRequire> on <Operation Class> where that doesn't work. You can just use PatchOperationFindMod instead to clear out a few errors.

There's a spam error from Bearskin and Busby headgear when looking at its info card. Removing the <RangedCooldownFactor> and <RangedCooldownFactor> offset of those headgears fixes the issue.

Already tested without mods (only necessary ones included) and the issue still persist. I'm still playing at 1.4 if that's relevant to the issue.

@panzerkamf123 Excellent suggestion. A naval fore-and-aft bicorne is already in the works, but it’ll appear in a new module for this mod. Additional navy-like uniforms are somewhat planned too

Really like this mod, it pairs really well with some of the scenarios I run. if I could suggest something it would be maybe a generic naval officer uniform, or bicorne.
