...Honestly, if you are looking to give it a graphical touch up, a good style option might be the Madhat enemies and Dusk from Fiend Folio. For obvious reasons, in the Madhat's case.
Would give it a nice connection to and while playing that mod.

not gonna lie, concept is great, but needs way better execution, some of the attack animations are jank, perhaps a new design (reskin of a boney whom is enlarged). boss also feels dry in my opinion, not much done with the magic based aspect.
