Doesn't work for some reason, I'm going to the xenotype gene editor and yet it doesn't show anywhere. Recommendations or anything I'm missing while doing it?

Haha yes, as I learned; I was just so baffled as to how I hadn't found a trade, and thought maybe I needed a certain number of archite capsules for the trade to show up

The mod has been updated to 1.6!

Travioli - Trades in rimworld (with caravans/spaceship/towns) are made with silver. The archite capsules are needed only for the creation of the xenogerm.

Just found one from an Imperial Caravan. Even so, it does not answer whether or not you need the archite capsules on you in order to buy it

When sending caravans to settlements, does the caravan need to have the archite capsules on them? I've visited elsewhere >50 times and haven't found it. I also haven't found it among any traders that have visited me. For the record, I have 53 archite capsules

@jackjenkinsmom0811 - It's an archotech gene, so if you look for it in the xenotype editor keep in mind that you have to click ignore restrictions. Also, using dev-mode you can edit a person's genes, you can find it under the name Godlike_Metabolism. (for some reasons, now you can no longer add the gene as a endogene from the dev menu, only as an exogene. I will have to look into what the deal with that is. I tested it just now)

@Sera simple, it here in case you got gens who ask like... 15 efficienty, and you take a lot of those. and then you end up with pawn having a +255% hunger rate just cause you needed a absolute unite of destruction because mechanoid hate you :crtstressed:

@vise.atavist It is an Archite Gene, did you enable the "Ignore Restrictions" option in the Xenotype editor? By default you can't pick a Archaite gene at the start.

@CTH2004 That would be too difficult for me to do. The current implementation is done purely through xml. I would have to learn a lot of c# for me to do what you explained.

here's an idea:
could you make it so that, instead of adding +750000 Metabolic Efficiency, it adds an amount that is variable, and set it always to +5?

What that means is the person who has this gene will always have +5 Metabolic Efficiency. Not add a whole lot, just add "x", where "x" will make the Metabolic Efficiency equal to 5

@Papal States The gene is not inheritable because it uses archotech capsules (making it a archotech type gene).
When creating a game, on the genome editor screen there are 2 checkmarks. One of them makes all archotech genes inheritable.
