I think this needs an update to ranged weapons. In the arena, ranged weapons are unusable probably due to the archery changes.

Maybe a third dwarf faction? The Egom-Khazadan tribal eagle riders, who guard the living mountain's cavern mycellium in reverance as a force of nature.

Just started playing this mod, noticed that in worldgen the human civs have alloys but no base metals. This is because the [STONE_PREF] token is missing from their entity definitions, and so they will never smelt ore into base metal. They only produce alloys from the ether, related to an old bug. FYI, seems like a neat mod so far.

Orcs are practically always extinct on worldgen... Goblin civs never spread very small homelands... The world is always dominated by vast numbers of elves with a handful of dwarven or human settlements spattered around... I like the idea of this mod but all elven worlds are very dull.

Update: Loading this mod last seems to fix the itemsprites, eisenstahl items now properly show up!

I noticed in a save that eislers down have blacksteel equipment sprites for weapons and such. Is this an error or do they not have sprite work for it yet? Also some equipment doesnt show in the close up face window

Updated for DF v51. Changes have been made in DF regarding creature graphics that will require some ongoing effort to correct, but I wish to get this out so people can start their v51 forts and adventures with the mod if they accept a little graphical oddity.

Dawn Elves also cannot make work orders which is... painful

It seems that Dawn Elves have very few noble titles and can't meet with diplomats. Every time I try to meet with a diplomat on my Dawn Elf fortress it immediately fails as soon as the diplomat arrives. The Blademaster also seems to be unable to create squads of guards. Am I doing something wrong?

I also noticed that Dawn Elves can't make metal boots. Not sure if that's intended or not.

Just a small thing I noticed, playing as goblins I notice that equipping an Eisenstahl Helm does not display a helm icon on my squad. Under "items," they *do* have the item equipped, it just doesn't render a sprite icon.

Great mod btw! Really enjoying it.

Troll slavery was an unexpected goblin bug/feature that I left in, not knowing how to make them any more useful, yet presuming my players would be smarter than I am.

Ah, I see the difference - steel bloom made at smelter, and steel bloom is used to make steel bars at the smithy. Posting in case anyone else runs into the same question.

i'm having an issue where some races aren't able to generate due to being unable to plant their crops, possibly a conflict with advanced agriculture but i have zero modding experience so i can only provide an uneducated hypothesis, i'm gonna try without it and see if that changes anything.

It generated a world for me with Spellcrafts loading before March of Wrath. I don't know enough about that mod to say if any errors occur that you might find further in game, but I tried to preserve compatibility with other mods where possible. What you will have trouble with is any mod trying to make changes to the MOUNTAIN, FOREST etc entities; that is the default civilizations. Those don't exist and are explicitly cut in March of Wrath, being replaced by their sub-groups (Zhan-Khaz, Zium-Khaz, Dawn Elves, Dusk Elves, etc).

I can confirm just now that worlds generate with DF's 51.01 beta branch with the default worldgen settings and MoW 0.20.0. You may have worldgen rejecting over trouble placing enough civs if the biomes aren't varied enough. Try letting the rejects run until the game prompts you to ignore the reject. Additionally other mods you may be running can interfere with process since those default creatures and entities don't exist.

Updated for Adventure Mode; creature portraits should exist for 90% of all critters. Many, many changes and tweaks have been conducted. I've worked through most of these problems reported but strongly recommend you stick to Zhan/Zuim Khaz (dwarves), Eislers, or Tyrians. Other races may not have functional nobles (and Tyrians are due for a rewrite). Please report any problems.

Loving the mod so far, ran into a little issue while playing the goblins, for some reason, i have all of the positions filled out, and they all have squads, but they still cannot attack locations, i can do missions but i cannot create new ones around my settlement.

Tested and Galena smelts down as would be expected. You must have a slightly out of date version.

There was a problem with silver in 12.4, 12.5 should have it corrected. I'm currently making silver from tetrahedrite. I'll dig up some galena and check that. You may need to update your save (maybe back it up first).

Seems like there's an issue with silver bars, they're just called "bars." It's coming from Galena if that makes a difference.

Updated to 0.12.3. Tyrian tribunes should now receive diplomats. Brass weapons should show up with held layer graphics. Custom training weapons should no longer appear 'grown'. Kiln-based charcoal making now makes one instead of one-hundred fifty ash bars.

Save compatibility not assured.Generate a new world to be safe.

I am not experiencing crashes. The existing 'quirks' are some errors in how I wrote reactions, and a lack of custom graphics for a number of held weapons. You should be able to muddle your merry way through with the non-dwarves and find the dwarf factions perfectly fine. What I really could use some feedback on is if the nobility positions are working 'correctly' for the various factions, since it can be a long slog to test every civ. Or was, before DF Hack came out...

I know you say the mod is only .12, how playable is it as each race? Are there major gameplay quirks that I should be aware of that could cause more frequent crashes?

@Gavitron I'll take a look at that. Consider making a discussion thread for tracking.

Anyone else encountering a problem is encouraged to open a thread for tracking as well. Its a lot of civs to test out in addition to reactions and hundreds of other changes. I was just thinking this morning that I'll need to put some bugfixes into a new version soon.

That said, thanks to everyone for trying this out. I delayed making it more visible for a long time because, like Dwarf Fortress, its never going to really be finished. Remember this is only 0.12.
