The mod works, I see the guy.....but he doesnt have a skill tree and cant embed him into an army or do anything. It's like he's just there. Am I missing something?

Updated. Most issues have been fixed except for the un-equipping of his custom items and then trying to equip them again. Keep his items on him for now!

@ArdentFlame thanks, but I have it under control. I'm postponing any new characters in favour of fixing the old ones. The ability to add runes and ancillaries have been found and I will be fixing that shortly. I will be focusing on that as well as a compilation of all my characters.

Phyrex - I have fixed the issue with your characters not being able to equip character runes. I've got all 4 files fixed up and can send them to you if you'd like. Great work on these, by the way. If you're not in it already, I highly recommend you join the modder's Discord. There's an absolute wealth of info and knowledgeable people in there.

I've downloaded the mod but haven't acquired him yet from Karak Azul, so if the suggestion I'm about to make is already present, I apologise.

I was wondering if it'd be possible for Kazrik to change his appearance upon reaching a certain level to mark the passage of time with the regrowth of his beard (perhaps with the greenskin glyph also being converted into a dawi rune). I feel like this would be a good way to add some character progression and enable him to "redeem" himself (yes, I know by lore standards that's impossible for dwarfs), or at the very least not look like a beardless loony for the entirety of the campaign. I have no modding experience, but I wonder if something like this could be achieved using the change mount feature.

Btw, thanks again for this and the other dwarf hero mods you've put out - you are a credit to the Karaz Ankor!

@워프골드 Prince Kazrik spawns on turn 1 for Karak Azul. You need to start a new campaign to have him spawn.

May I know when and how the process for recruiting begins? I want to know if the quest isn't popping up because of the other mods I'm using.

@Dredd I'm going to take a look once he releases the mod for WH3. Would also be a cool idea for Ulther Stonehammer. He could start as a prince and once the player controls Karak Ungor he could get updated graphics and a 'King' title.

@Phyrex Xoudad has a mod of Valten from the empire, and he has 3 transformation as he was rising experience and levels. Maybe you can talk with him to know hoy you could do somethingn similar :)

No worries, man. The lore is a bit conflicting. In reality, Kazrik would more than likely take the Slayer's Oath after his ordeal.

I'm honestly surprised he would not take the slayer oath. From what you have said though it appears he was not written to have.

Interesting I was not aware of that lore. While I stand by my comments as they are accurate to dwarven lore I will retract that this dwarf looks 'law-unfriendly' as in light of the information you just shared this fellow would indeed be a loreful. I too have read Orcslayer and am familiar with Leatherbeard.

@Martarios Thank you. That's exactly what I was thinking of when I made him, like if I could somehow make it so that when he picks a skill at lvl 25 or so he changes and grows back his beard or even when/if he kills Gorefang Rotgut he could grow it back. Or something similar. But it is as you said, quite the undertaking and to be be honest with you, I'm not that good of a modder, I'm afraid. :(

@Thorinbard I'm well aware of how beardless Dwarfs are treated, etc. I just read Gotrek and Felix: Orcslayer where they meet a character called 'Leatherbeard' who lost his beard to a Skaven chemical attack. His shame was so great he took up the Slayers Oath.

But I follow how he was described from The White Dwarf #159 and the novel 'Headtaker', both of which are canon. The last depiction of him is described in Headtaker, wearing a black cloak, a pair of gleaming axes and strands of hair from his bald face/head as he duels Rotgut one last time. Every dwarf in the battle was chanting his name: Kazrik! Kazrik! Kazrik! Much to Queek's dismay I may add.

This is a really nice mod, thank you for it :) Kazrik is an excellent addition for the dwarfs, and furthermore, having him and Kazador (from Mixus LL) together to bash everything in sight is wonderful. I was wondering though, could you perhaps add some trait which would change his appereance as he reaches higher leves? For example, if he manages to reach (for example) level 30, he would have his beard grown back, like he is slowly recovering from Gorefangs torture. I know that it would be an absurd amount of work for such a small thing, but it is just something that came in mind. Thanks again.

Very law-unfriendly looking dwarf. This is a race whose word for 'respect' being 'tromm' is translated to quite literally to mean 'beard.' Indeed, no respectable dwarf would follow a leader without one. Nor in fact would a dwarf suffer a greenskin to be tattooed on their forehead, the race whom they bear their greatest ancestor grudge against.

i love the idea you have of making hero's to accompany other LC modders established works like mixu's lords, bravo :)

@Macwithwhos I will create Dwarf characters until I'm bored or find something else to do. Current plan is to make a few more characters, preferably 1 for each Dwarf Hold and then do a compilation with finetuning and updates to every character.

Thanks for this mod. I´m a dawrf fan in Warhammer lore, and this mod is a blessing. One question, if is possible to anwser me: How many heroes are you going to create? I like to create campaign with many heroes, and i want to start one with your full list of dwarf heroes. Thanks again for your mods list.

@SoarS I main Dwarf and Empire. There are a lot of Emprie LL and LH but not so many Dwarf ones. I will only do Dwarf characters for now and many of them.

I will be doing LLs eventually, but for now focusing on Heroes.

@BloodW0lf The amount of effort to create entire new factions is actually staggering - very tedious and really buggy. I understand where the gate-keeping vibe is coming from, and perhaps it is there to a degree, but I'd imagine it'd be very frustrating to be weeks into a mod only to realise someone else is doing the exact same thing.

sounds liek a dumb gate keeping "law" but cant wait for more stuff
