can you please remove the enemy elites, or at least make a separate version without them (also i'd personally prefer the H2A Chief model instead of the G3 Mk. VI)

I can see a lot of work went into this mod, I cant discount that. It does add some cool stuff. BUT, its feels like it has the mindset of "vanilla is bad". Chief and Arbiter's models are strange, with Chief's armor looking vomit green and visor a weird pale color. Meanwhile, Arbiter and the Elites as a whole, have creepy dead face looks. Now don't get me wrong, more guns is cool. Some just clash with Halo 3's artstyle and all base game guns feel like they were replaced to avoid that issue. I hate to be a snob, I,m sure programming the Alt fire for the Heatwave, as well get the models into the game and animated correctly was a decepitvely hard task. Just so much about this mod reminds of 343's over design and ego. I lost interest in it by the time I got to Cortana and just skipped to the warthhog run, the Flood feel immensely more oppressive and unfun to fight. Sometimes less is more, thats all. This isn't a bad mod by any means, I just wouldn't call it my definitive way to play Halo 3.

i like the addition of more enemies to fight but uh i hate when people do overhauls and just make certain weapons that are dual wieldable weapons not dual wieldable anymore like that was one of the coolest things about 2 and 3 smh

Please get rid of the enemy elites. The Great Schism literally just happened in Halo 2. Elites would not be fighting for the covenant at this point.

This is sick! Creates some brand new experiences and new depth to encounters.
I LOVE THE ENEMY ELITES - they give loads more variety to the classic Halo 3 loop and they play just like Halo CE/2 elites and make you rethink approaches to classic Halo 3 scenarios.
The sandbox is wicked. The Halo Infinite weapons mostly feel right and fit into the mix really well - especially the Bulldog and Pulse Carbine (except the lack of auto fire).

Plenty of pathfinding issues, especially for the Drones. Combat can get a little too frantic and sometimes Mythic is just throwing masses of enemies at you to the point it feels like a chore to take them out.
Also each to their own - but I think this mod confuses the visual language of the game too much and makes for some confusing moments like not knowing if a Brute's shield is down.

Overall though gotta recommend this one for a well thought out, fresh and punchy take on a classic.

Flood enemies are way too tough - it should not take 3 to 5 swipes with an energy sword to take down combat forms on normal difficulty. Mixing in Elites as enemies was also a poor choice. I really liked the Reach overhaul and thought that it was well-balanced and well-executed, but the Halo 3 overhaul is not great.

I do enjoy the mod with how well everything looks, the weapons added and everything. But I also ask a dumb Request if there was a way to make a submod or something of this Mod where there is no Elites as Enemies??

Lots of bad with a few good standouts. AI pathing breaks from increased enemy #s per encounter, the custom-made weapons and vehicle are poorly designed and look terrible. Why is there so much fucking ammo, both found on the maps and in carried ammo counts. Great enemy rank variety.

Red flood brutes and sometimes other flood forms refuse to die after a few clips & some.

If you're up to it, throw in some more human weapons during Cortana's rescue.

Dual wielding works for me. The Armor-piercing assault rifle & silenced smg are satisfying respectively.

Radiation carbines are either extremely effective or do next to nothing.
Infected Arbiters don't friggin die man, I'm running out of weapons after I rescue Cortana

one thing id love to see as a option is the choice to play as our multiplayer characters with the overhaul this is hands down one of my fav overhauls and if that was added i would absolutely love that

Amazing mod, though some weapons like the BR and the pistols except the auto-mag really need a buff, Also I was unable to throw grenades while holding the heatwave is that a bug? But like actually incredible mod theirs so many awesome things its to hard list them all. IMO I love having multiple guns that fill the same role and are slightly different

Whenever i get run over by a prowler i seem to crash, I dont know if its also the case for other vehicles but i crashed twice in a row getting ran over

Played the first couple of levels.

Overall, I like it. The inclusion of Elites and the Reach skirmishers is very very nice. The back-porting of the explosive-fuel-cell tossing from Infinite is a nice touch.

What I'm a lot more ambivalent about is the stuffing of so many different weapons into the sandbox. It's not terrible, but it feels redundant. Generally speaking, good game weapon design has each weapon fulfil different roles with little overlap. Do we really need both the Covenant Carbine and Needle Rifle in the game? Do we need like 3-5 different DMR-ish weapons? Do we need multiple Magnum-adjacent weapons? And so on.

I stress that I like what I've played overall, it does the job of freshening up the campaign for a new playthrough. I just think the weapon sandbox could do with some pruning.

(Also the Needle Rifle feels underpowered compared to what it was in Reach. If we're going to include that, I'd like it to supercombine more easily.)
