I discovered that if I put this mod last, it works... thought I'd mention in case anyone else is still having issues

@Smufius The report back is much appreciated! When making big mod lists I have to do so much checking/testing on which mods will still work for the game, so I often assume they don't work when their latest comments say they don't.

Hey, reporting back because I completely forgot about this... The bug report I posted was false. The beds work as intended.

The hospital issue I posted was caused by a misunderstanding. I made my hospital into an office and not a meeting area. That's why it was bugged.

@Rooster78 There should be nothing wrong with it, however certain mods can conflict with this. Others have reported that leaving this last in your load order can help.

I'll look into it once I start a new fortress. Hospitals do indeed feel buggy often. Feels like dwarves realize there's bed after they've been placed for a long time.

@Smoothbrain, Do beds made from other materials still work? It may be a game bug, there's nothing in the item tokens I can see that relate to health care use, this mod doesn't modify existing beds in any way other than allowing them to be crafted from a new material.

Still confirming that dwarves don't indeed use stone beds in hospitals, and instead crash on the floor.

Doesn't seem to work on fully updated DF (with a new world generated).

This *might* be a bug. Dwarves in hospitals don't go into stone beds. Instead they just go lay down in the corner of the room.

I always thought you could craft stone beds at the carpentry workshop?

Hoping this gets fixed soon, my Dwarves need a hard surface to sleep on to help with their scoliosis

I know there are some mods which currently conflict, there’s nothing I can change on my end though to help that, those mod authors probably need to change the way they patch stuff, or you can try loading this mod last on your load order.

Can confirm that this mod is not working, currently testing out load orders.

It seems like lately, the mod does not work for beds. Even Stoneworking expanded does not seem to give the ability to craft stone beds.

They do neither appear in work orders nor in the stone workshop.

@emberwing13 You should find them in the stoneworkers workshop (not the craftsdwarves). You also need to be playing a Dwarven civilisation Otherwise there may be a conflict with another mod.

I have this set to be active in my current world but can't seem to find where it is- I can't access it via work orders or my stonework/crafting spot. Am I missing something?

I could have sworn stone beds used to be in the game. Either way, thanks for this, I totally agree with you, any self-respecting dwarf should only want to sleep on wood in the most dire circumstances.

@Sanix The premium update introduced a new labour called stonecarving as a skill, I was told masonry is now only used for cutting stone blocks and carve_stone is what gets used for furniture

Why does this not use the MASONRY skill token? All other stone furniture uses this. I'm honestly not even sure what CARVE_STONE does....

So, which skill do you want to use? CARVE_STONE or STONE_CARVE? You use both in the reaction file.

@Mitokandria (Tricks) The newest version should be 1.0 and SHOULD still be compatible with 50.02, you may get a prompt to update if you have 50.02 in your current save. I'll have an update which lets you be able to select what material you want to make beds out, I just want to make sure it's not going to break saves.

Disregard I guess? Adding Stone Beds 50.02 made 1.0 disappear?

With the weirdness of how the workshop version numbers work. Which version is the correct one?

or
Stone Beds 1.0 ?

@NumberBoxGamer Yes it’s a weird thing with how workshop version numbers work, I’ll revert it to the previous number as that seems to cause least issues.

Hey, so I'm having an issue where when I moved my save over to a different computer, with all the mods downloaded and everything, it's giving me an error that Stone Beds 50.02 can not be found. Is there any fix for this?

ty for this, beds the one thing thats always bugged me. lot of other stuff makes sense because of weight/brittleness but beds? even humans sleep on stone beds sometimes.

It only says beds here, but stone bins are included too!

Thank god, if the elves knew that there used to be a forest where the Fort was before we arrived they would kill us, but now I don't have to worry at all, thanks!
