I think the stability damage is 70 or so, so in theory 2 shots anywhere should drop, which means that it'll only work at medium range (since normally 2 shots kill)

Bear in mind too that WW1 trench magazine conversions of rifles also loaded with stripper clips and were typically not removeable for normal operation

In reality, even by WW2 many semi automatic weapons were loaded with stripper clips since magazines were not abundant. Examples of this are the G41 and G43, the SVT40, the Charlton Automatic Rifle (normally soldiers removed the magazine then loaded it with clips, and then inserted it again),the Wz38M (Polish rifle), the Czech ZH29, and even the Johnston rifle.
In comparison, these guns were made in WW1, where most country's manufacturing capabilities way exponentially smaller than 20 years later, and in this case by the Russian Empire, a feudal non industrial nation

While most countries had long since perfected interchangeable weapon parts, the Russians were still struggling to make rifles with interchangeable magazines. Simply amazing.

Might be a bit late to say, but it won't be able to load 25+1 rounds when you're using clips instead of magazines. Plus, I was actually expecting a firemode to be added.
