Hello there, thank you for this MOD. Disabling the modded Nightvision option is not working, i still get the modded shader when drinking Worm Blood.

Actually now that I think about it, it may be better to write the mod to in general inject code and not completely overwrite the file, since overwriting the entire file will make your mod mod-load-order dependent, which is unideal, and looking at steam comments this appears to be a recurring issue for you
I would recommend instead doing something similar of injecting the necessary code in without overwriting modifications from other mods. If you do not know how to do this or require help, the Noita Discord has some very welcoming modders as well as myself, and we would all be happy to assist should you desire it

Hi, Chemical Curiosities dev here, this mod removes some comments from vital places in the shader files which CC uses to inject code for our own shader stuff
Would it be possible for you to put the comments back so that CC and possibly other mods may use them to modify shaders without running into errors while also running this mod?

i can't disable night worm vision. i clicked this option and started new game a few times and it's enabled anyway. could it be incompability with other mods?

Should be fixed in v0.3.4. Try unsubscribing and subscribe again to get the latest version. Let me know if it works for you.

(I am unsure if this mods works. People complain in the comment section and then vanish. On the other hand there are 1.5k subscribers. So, I assume it works for most people.)

That is a mod compatiblity issue. The new enemies mod changes the shader `post_final.frag` too. It adds some heat distortion effect for Helion (whatever that is; maybe an enemy;). I see an error from that in the logs. And every shader error results in a white screen. I can add a workaround for that error, but it would still disable the heat effect.

I fixed a bug in v0.3.3 that could trigger a white screen in some cases. This is unrelated to the other mod though. I did not find any compatibility issues. Let me know if that fixes your issue or not.

None of them changes all the shaders that this mod changes. Last time I checked there were still some visual issues. But the most glaring issue with the fog of war seems to be fixed.

What I did was merge together two mods: HD Noita (adding 1.2 zoom) and Ultrawide.
Both modifies shaders.

Other mods tend to leave the shaders untouched. This is the reason why many of the similar mods don't work that well in specific situations.

Still works for me.
White screen means that the shaders don't work on your graphics card. Check out the other comments on how you might be able to solve that.

A white screen just means that there is an issue. It does not tell me what issue or where it is. Without a debug log there is not much that I can do. The video shows how to create one. You can drop it in the pinned discussion thread above.

As a side note, have you installed additional mods recently that might interfere with camera zoom or shaders?

Hi, I have encountered an issue with this mod. Recently it has bugged and now makes the game screen completely white, for a while it was working fine tho. Tried opening the post_final.frag based on the video, but the code line seems intact, as in it is displayed as a comment as it should (I assume). Are there any ways to fix this? (I would expect to it to reduce the fps. Like it does in every game when you increase the fov. It need to draw more stuff after all. I can't tell you how much though.)

And make sure that you don't use other mods that change the zoom as well. Otherwise you might run into incompatibilities.

Yeah, you are not the only one. For me it works. Unfortunately, you might need to create a debug log manually. I posted a video that shows how you can do it (if you don't mind taking the time). I opened a discussion where you can copy&paste the log (drag&drop might not work here).

You can zoom the camera in or out. Compare the first two screenshots. You can customize how much it zooms in the mod settings menu.

Okay, the current version (v0.3.1) should make things a lot easier. I added two options to the 'Mod settings' menu.

Not really. Tweakeroo only changes the virtual resolution like the mod ZOOM does. But it does not change the shaders.

For example, if I set zoom to 2.0 in Tweakeroo and start a new game. Simply walking right leaves my character in the dark while the fog of war is revealed below me.

Looking at the code I might be able to do something similar to make changing the zoom more user friendly, i.e. that you can do that in-game.

(I would recomment to just leave everything as default simply to confirm whether or not the mod works. Changes might cause new issues. If you want to change things make a backup(!). Otherwise updates might override them.)

(By the way, if you want to change the zoom you have to change not only the virtual resolution in the file "magic_numbers.xml" but also the variable "camera_zoom" in the shader files. There are four shader files in total. It is set to 1.2 (+20%) by default.)

I am a bit out of shape with Noita modding. I think you can launch the game in debug mode and it will show what mods are loaded and if it encountered errors while doing so. See the command console for that that launches with the debug mode. There is also a file called "logger.txt" that might contain useful information.

I just checked. I found an error but the night vision and stuff was working for me even with the error. I assume that the new update (v0.2) won't fix your problem.

this doesn't work i changed the virtual res x and y in xml and had mod enabled but nothing happened and i didn't get the modded worm blood nightvision

That sound like a post shader issue. Can you tell me the situation that triggers this consistently for you? I am not playing the game currently and I could run through the first area fine just now. (I let the shader files be compared and it seems that they did not change them.)

Not sure if it's a mod conflict or just something in the mod itself not working correctly, but enabling this consistently turns my screen pure white ingame and makes it impossible to see anything. I've already tried adjusting my mod setup and load order several times, and also disabling the worm night vision feature in the post_final.frag shader file, but it still happens no matter what.

Might just be me/my PC having a very specific issue with the mod, but just in case it's something the bugfix update broke or it otherwise broke on its own, figured I'd say something and let you know
