Fertilizer doesn't work on modded trees - vanilla specifically put that restriction in the code for some reason - and the trees should grow fine otherwise. I can look into it this weekend though.

I'm pretty sure birch tree saplings never grow into trees, even when throwing fertilizer on them.

this and verdant are probably my favorite mods thematically, i have no useful suggestions but i wish there was more of them:) not that they arent good enough but rather that they are great and i never wanna be done exploring them!

Every mob has the biome it's from and the mod it's from tagged. I'd have to explicitly remove this for no reason in order to "fix" it. Verdant has the same "issue", it's normal.

Couldn't the one for the biome simply be removed because the only enemies that spawn from this mod are exclusive to the arbour biome or am I misunderstanding
it is just a bit strange to have a repeating tag in the bestiary

Since they're not critters, I don't know about that. They are enemies, just frail and cowardly ones. I could, however, add silly little guys (critters) properly...sometime.

could you make it so if you net the flightlings (with a net obviously) you can obtain them in your inventory? (similar to bugs, rare animals, etc) and then be able to craft a terrarium with them in it? (terrarium + flightling) i think this would be very fun because i have a collection of silly creatures in terrariums next to my house in my world and i would love to add these little guys into my collection ^_^

Thank you! It just felt excessive when they were even more common than slimes despite having a town, pylon and spawn debuffs trying to make them appear less. Anyways, I adore this mod, I never play a modded run without it.

A config disabling the enemies removes the point of the enemies, so I won't do that. But I reduced both of their spawn rates by about 65% in the update I just released, so hopefully that helps.

Is there any chance you can add an option/configuration to disable the enemies from spawning? Even with the Sunflowers Happy buff and a Peace Candle they still spawn way too much.

In the latest version, the mod seems to break NPC shops. After some time swapping mods in and out this mod not being in the pack seemed to fix the issue. NPCs shops would open but they would have no stock of any items. Mods are common QoL mods, Fargo's Mutants, Alchemist, and Calamity + addons

I see there's a config for the old/new Arbour theme, but is there one to turn off the modded music entirely? Using a lot of the wonderful biome blocks for my base, but it overrides the town theme.
But regardless, this is such a beautiful little mod. I love it and Verdant so much.

makes sense, ill always play with both! on a separate note, i was just playing and it occurred to me how nice those flightlings would be in terrariums, its a shame i have to wipe them all out haha

They sure are! Verdant is my main solo project, and Arbor is a smaller solo project for when I'm in need of a little break.
Answering honestly though, Verdant almost certainly will never have major cross mod compatibility, aside from functionality, as it's meant to be its own experience entirely developed by me. Arbor is significantly less strict, so maybe there. It'd depend on who would want to collaborate and what they'd want to do.

Probably a long shot but would you consider working with another creator? The verdant mod comes to mind as i personally always have that mod loaded with this one. absolutely love the look of your sky islands though so even if not i'll still be happy to enjoy your work :)

Probably! Every update, even bugfixes, I plan to add another Birch furniture piece until the set is done. Critters will come eventually, those are more work and I've got other priorities.
