My favorite stellaris mod. Hope it comes back someday.
jpmeyers12 28. juni kl. 9:05
I love this mod so much, that said I understand it's a lot of work, but thank you for adding such dynamism to my games! <3

Update would be so cool

Gake 17. maj kl. 16:31
Crashes on startup.
Stitched 25. mar. kl. 16:22
Just to confirm to anyone having the same issue, as of now this mod specifically causes a crash on startup of a new game

fantastic mod, been using it for a long time and its great for flavor, useful but very balanced, I love it
Teamson 18. sep. 2024 kl. 10:24
Thanks for keeping us posted guys, much appreciated!!
Porkenstein 18. sep. 2024 kl. 9:34
Yep, works for me. It's still my favorite mod on the workshop. Hopefully it gets updated to help encourage more people to keep subscribing.
antoncatedrales 10. sep. 2024 kl. 10:40
It works for me on 3.12
Porkenstein 15. juni 2024 kl. 18:41
@Teamson, I second that
Teamson 11. maj 2024 kl. 13:02
Does this need a update or does it run fine? One of my essentials.
Troysdownfall 31. mar. 2024 kl. 20:51
Is there way to add a maximum number of deposits? Would help with the AI spamming them and with balancing the mod. Super cool concept, but its exploitable/can get out of hand.
FebHare 27. feb. 2024 kl. 5:32
I confirmed the "deposits can't be removed actually" issue is fixed in Stellaris 3.11.
Sophie 19. feb. 2024 kl. 13:11
Needs fixing but the idea and gamplay with it is solid, please update !
Nephatrine 11. feb. 2024 kl. 15:52
This sounds so good. Very sad to hear that it doesn't work quite right in 3.10!
Troysdownfall 27. jan. 2024 kl. 16:50
I'm also noticing AI planets having a ridiculous amount of public forums, nomadic groups, etc. I think adding a cap as to how many you have would be good. Trying to remove them is not going well, the decision doesn't seem to actually get rid of the planetary feature.
Also, I'm playing as determined exterminator robots, so I think they should automatically all go away when I take a planet. Not sure how that could be implemented though.
Rye! 30. dec. 2023 kl. 9:23
The AI has a planet with x113 social housing, x125 tech centers, all protected with x15 local police forces. No complaints here, I'm loving the chaos
FebHare 30. dec. 2023 kl. 6:21
I have same issue, deposit changer decisions add new deposit but doesn't remove old one.
Actually, it is a Paradox issue. In Stellaris 3.10, "remove_deposit = yes" doesn't remove scoped deposit.
Shidan 4. dec. 2023 kl. 10:43
The mod is bugged right now as far as I can tell. Running the decision does not remove the blocker, so you can just do it again, and again. This is why the AI end up with a bunch of them I think.

PART 2

Really neat mod that I enjoy having while playing as a Species that can get them, but trying to conquer AI planets in mid to late game is very ANNOYING because of the sheer number of stacking the AI will get with them. Its not uncommon for the AI to have 50 to 100 of them each having an upkeep of 3 or 4 of some resource. That many of them can easily strip out half of a smaller empires resource production or cripple AI Devouring swarms or Determined Exterminators that have no way to get rid of the GIANT resource consumption those will have.
Melfely 3. dec. 2023 kl. 11:35
Hey, currently the AI loves to have like 50 or more of the blockers from your mod on planets. When playing a Machine empire and taking over the planets of the AI's that do this there is no way to get rid of these from the planets.

The remove one special blocker decision does not work and some planets will have a consumer good upkeep of like 500 base because of these blockers. Which is both impossible for most machine empires to have and I think that the AI's are being heavily weakened because of it.

Having the player be able to invest heavily in them makes sense, but I don't really know if the AI is making the best decisions for itself most of the time so having a limit for how many the AI can have on one planet might be a good idea.

PART 1
Porkenstein 14. sep. 2023 kl. 9:58
@Wilmfe23, my favorite thing about this mod is how it feels less like punishing players and more like the citizens themselves naturally compensating for lapses in government. Really makes the populace feel alive.
Capelett  [ophavsmand] 12. sep. 2023 kl. 4:47
Updated to 3.9
Hazardous 25. aug. 2023 kl. 8:06
I think the upgraded tech center should provide physics research instead of engineering research. Tech centers are more focused on programming, which would advance computing research on the physics side
Wilmfe23 20. juli 2023 kl. 3:22
I wish they did this more. Punishing players for doing a bad job.

Hi, did the Russian (Русский) localization. Can you provide a link, please

@Capelett, I loved the sea people mod, it was so fun. My best civ 5 mods actually came out when I was bored during the pandemic.
Capelett  [ophavsmand] 12. maj 2023 kl. 16:56
@Porkenstein Thanks! I just realised you made a few civs for civ 5. I remember playing Lombardy and the sea people, back in the day. Small world
Porkenstein 12. maj 2023 kl. 14:34
@Capelett, you are my hero
Capelett  [ophavsmand] 12. maj 2023 kl. 6:15

Porkenstein 9. maj 2023 kl. 16:18
This might just be my favorite Stellaris mod ever. It should be in vanilla.
Vlad_1492 26. apr. 2023 kl. 3:16
Great idea!
Seti 15. apr. 2023 kl. 4:57
god i love this so much
antoncatedrales 16. mar. 2023 kl. 7:48
Simple and excelent...
Bloodborn 5. mar. 2023 kl. 9:50
Honestly a very good idea for a mod, have you thought about including other social decline blockers, or maybe empire-wide situations?
Juhn 25. jan. 2023 kl. 3:01
@Omicron, well since the blockers in some ways "fix" (with counterparts such as crime) the issues the planets had, they can actually help the AI to some degree I guess.

Also guess some can still toggle the policy and prevent blockers from spawning :b
Omicron 18. jan. 2023 kl. 14:25
How well does the AI deal with this nowadays in 3.6.x?

In older versions of the game, AI empires were liable to enter sudden economic death spirals at the slightest provocation, or even without any provocation at all. Ever since 3.3 the AI has been improved, but I am still hesitant to add something to the game that potentially makes a bad situation worse for the AI and cause it to cascade into failure.

Hello, and I have a suggestion.
job_socdec_entertainer is weaker than vanilla entertainer job, I am fine about it. But it has same name, so it is confusable. Could you please to consider about changing it to something else, like "sex worker" or "prostitute"?
kapsellola 14. jan. 2023 kl. 13:11
I have a suggestion. What about an option to add blockers to planets (like slums, mobile homes) via a decision?
Red Moff 29. dec. 2022 kl. 10:31
Great mod indeed :)
jpmeyers12 15. dec. 2022 kl. 8:03
@capelett Awesome, thanks!
Capelett  [ophavsmand] 15. dec. 2022 kl. 3:27
@jpmeyers12 Thanks! And yeah, it will work fine on an existing save. Every year an event runs to 'mark' colonised planets for the blockers to spawn, so it may take up to 3 years for them to start spawning.
jpmeyers12 14. dec. 2022 kl. 15:22
Can you add this to an existing save? I was playing with this mod before I had to redo my mod list and I forgot to add it back in before I'd started a new game. Love this mod, it makes your planets feel so much more alive, great job!
FortuneHost 13. dec. 2022 kl. 14:17
Fantastic idea for a mod and well-executed. Adds a new dimension to running an empire.
Wilmfe23 6. dec. 2022 kl. 14:44
Another mod that I feel should be part of the main game.
