Naah legs have no collision either for navigation reasons :P
And moving parts are just not good enough for something like this to really walk :P And terrain in game would require it to swim regardless.

So it would be hundres of hours of work for a system that would not work well and essentially just be a gimmek. I did consider it :P just not worth it

Never used it myself. But im somewhat aware that some circuitry will need a "component order list" setup in the mod. since by my understanding it makes components ticks slower.

I guess moving legs can be made by editing sprites of a turret's barrel. You can also add colliders and attack effects by making proper bolts and firing mechanics.

But this method only works for single joint. If I get it right the front leg has two joints, and turrets won't help there.

If there was a physical way to make them move and work! and not look handicapped i would totally give that a shot.

But i dont see any way of doing it any kind of justice currently.
And lets be real :P who is gonna download the version with folded legs :D
swapping subs is not really something you wanna do a lot :P

But if some master modder ever decide to do moving parts . Ill give it a revisit.

Badass! Excellent use of panels for exterior details, those leg actuators and pistons are super clean.

...Also, it might be kind of a stretch to ask, but seeing how the legs are currently non-functional (for obvious reasons), would it be possible to see a variant of this where the legs are folded up? Like a sort of "in-transit" mode when it's navigating to a mining location before deploying the legs.Just a suggestion, but it's no big deal.

Still, great work overall. The little lore tidbits also add a lot to its flavor. :terminated:
